"Hear, hear! All of the Union Monkeys Tribe!" So it's after some busy morning where everyone does their daily survival shits, Wutian decided to call out for everymonkeys for a meet up. "I have an announcement to make!"
"Oh?"
"What is it?"
"Is it good?"
"All you of should know that the Naming Ceremony is a sacred ceremony where only the monkey with the most potential and/or best behavior can get one!" The Great Sun Ape exclaimed, addressing towards the crowd. "And now... we, the leader of the Monkey Tribe and the great tree Arcaxia have came to a conclusion that it's time for another great monkey to be bestowed with a name!"
"Ohhh!?"
"I wonder who will it be!"
"I have the best behavior! Could it be me?"
"Naw, I worked the hardest! It should be me!"
"Silence!" Wutian ordered, and everyone really went silenced. They really DO respect him, eh? "We have evaluated, and we decided on a few monkeys... but before that, I would like to bring up somemonkey..."
He looked towards his own brother, who kind of didn't care about the whole speech, and pointed towards him. "My brother, Lil' Blue!"
"...Lil' Blue?"
"Thaaaaat Water Monkey?"
"He's the brother of the leader?"
"He's one troublesome fella! What's the leader wants about him?"
"I really can't believe he has such a brother!"
"Hmph," The Water Ape looked to the side, completely disrespecting the Sun Monkey. "What do you want?"
"Look how he reacted!"
"Such an insolent brat!"
"Didn't the leader taught him well?"
"Silence!!!" Wutian once again ordered, and leaped down from... my branch. He stepped up towards his brother, and grabbed on his shoulder. "I have decided that the first monkey that should be name in the ceremony will be my own brother!"
"?!" The water ape jolted his head towards the elder monkey, having a look of complete disbelief. "Why-"
"What?!"
"Are you kidding me?!"
"No way!"
"He's FAR from having a good attitude!"
"A prankster, receiving a name?! That's insane!"
"SILENCE!" Now Wutian's a little bit angry. "You may not know this... but he's the smartest monkey of the entire tribe! Remember who saved us from the massive orcs? Remember who solved the problems of food shortage? It was him, my brother! And what is it odd that such a capable monkey to receive the correct recognition and a great name to fit his works?!"
All the monkeys went silence, or rather, they murmured within their own selves. Ooooh nasty. I knew this would happen. Now... Wutian might not be able to hear 'em, but I could...
"I thought that's entirely the leader's work..."
"But he's right. The one with the plans WAS from Lil' Blue..."
"Nah, I'm very sure he's just being lucky. If there's no Wutian, his plan won't work anyway."
"Yeah... Without the leader's aid to his plans, there's nothing that he can do..."
"He's probably tricking the leader with his sweet mouth!"
"Yeah, that's probably it! They're brothers anyway!"
"All... you... idiots...!" Oh. So Wutian COULD hear them. Now that's... bad. The flames started to ignite around him uncontrollably and the light's getting brighter and brighter. The grasses underneath him started to blacken into crisps and... I started to not like this.
"Hey hey hey, big bro, chill down," Suddenly, Lil' Blue patted on his brother's back... more like, a water orb EXPLODED behind Wutian's back. It took out those flames and weakened Wutian. Wutian looked back at his own brother with disbelieve. "You're not gonna like this but, I think Arcaxia over there-"
"How dare he address the great tree with only her great name?!"
"-will be happy to hear that she didn't need to name one extra monkey."
What?
"What do you...mean-" Wutian's eyes widened, and grabbed onto his brother's shoulders again. "No Lil' Blue, you HAVE to!"
"And what GOOD will that bring me, eh?" The blue monkey swiped the elder's hands off. "Look at them, look at your followers!" He pointed at the rest of the monkeys. "NOBODY will be happy if such a monkey like me that will receive a wondrous name like yours, brother. NOBODY will recognize me for my achievements... and NOBODY will give me RESPECTS as they will for you."
"...Brother, I-"
"No, I got it," He smiled at the elder monkey. "You love me, right? But hey, there's one thing that you don't know..."
Suddenly, two blobs of water were formed in his hands, and before anyone else could react...
He smashed into Wutian's face.
"I hate you."
Everybody became furious and shocked, because Wutian fainted and the blue monkey just ran away. Without a leader, they're like wild animals without being controlled - some of them just ran furiously after the blue monkey, while some panicked and didn't know what to do. Wuming immediately came to Wutian's side and held onto him, checking onto him. Noticing that he's fine, she stood up and looked at the other monkeys.
"Listen to me!" She ordered, and immediately the other monkeys halted on what they were doing. Some monkeys that already had ran to chase after the blue monkey didn't even hear her, but the rest of them just looked at the named monkey and listened.
"The Leader is fine," That brought relieve towards all monkeys. "But we need to get him dried off. You three," She pointed at 3 fire monkeys. "Start a fire - but don't burn the blessed garden. Just dry him out," While the three fire monkeys do their things, she addressed towards the rest of the monkeys. "All of you, stop chasing after his brother. I know that all of you are furious at him, but it's also because of all of you that he reacted that way."
"But he attacked the leader!"
"YEAH!"
"No, he did not," Wuming sighed, and looked at Wutian for a while. "Listen. It's normal for siblings to fight against each other and engage in some bickerings, right? Nothing over here are life-threatening. Blue is not even being serious about attacking his brother! Furthermore, IF he really does bear hostile feelings towards him brother...
He could have killed him at this spot."
The monkeys gasped.
"But no, he didn't," Wuming continued. "With a smart monkey like him, he didn't use his skills to kill off his brother. Instead, he merely played a water-prank on him - like how he did towards the rest of you."
"But still-"
"No more shall we talk about this. It's late already, everyone, let's go and sleep," Wuming... smiled.
"Shall we?"
Now that's... creepy.

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 05: Bother Brother
Alright, so, let's recap a little.
First, I was some sort of apple, then I met this r00d monkey who wanted to eat me whom later became my "greatest friend"... Then I enrooted within this little cave where I control all sorts of plants and assigned different roles to them like bear fruits or grow colorful and tasty medicinal flowers... Then these whole bunch of 47 monkeys came to this place and started to worship me after I proved my "miracles"... Then my "greatest friend" forced me into some sort of "promises" with the monkeys...
Yeap.
You'd think that I'm like a month or a year old right now but NO.
NO.
I'm only ONE DAY old.
Ok fine, I WAS one day old when all of that happened.
Today, I'm TWO DAYS OLD.
TWO. FUCKING. DAYS.
No I don't have a fucking partner because I'm a tree. Sigh.
Additionally, I have to watch them fuck and fuck up because I have this skill called "Eyes On You" which I can feel/see/observe everything within my vicinity. Of course, I can turn them off... but WHAT IF something really happened? Everyone's having so much fun during the celebration of moving to this cave, but, I'm the one that REALLY needs to work while they're all being drunk and drown in their happiness.
Ugh.
This is seriously causing me a large headache.
Like what should I do if that girl's going to faint? Also some dude drops his glass. At the same time somebody tripped over someone else's tail.
That's the "minimum requirement" of something that'll go wrong today. Sigh.
There. It's not the first time I'm encountering this problem for tonight soooo my speed in saving the calamity have increased. Well, what do you know? Practice makes perfect.
...and I learned a new skill. From actual Multitasking. Weeee~
Does this means that I'm the only one helping these monkeys right now?
If you're asking for Wutian... Obviously he's not helping. He's just busy flirting with that moon girl- I mean, Wuming. Y'know, I'm actually wondering if it's incest if they have the same family name but not really with the same blood? Or even if they ARE, how are they going to reproduce at this point if everyone's blood related???
Then again Adam and Eve... eh. Their first few children will have to be siblings, right?
Maybe incest IS the right way of reproduction. Hmmm...
WAIT. NO. THAT'S VERY WRONG. NONONO.
But Hera and Zeus. HMMM...
I don't understand how reproduction really should work for extinct species anymore...
Oh seriously, I have to see them fuck too? Now what did I do to deserve this?!
...
...
...
Ok fine. Maybe I DO deserve this. Images of all my previous SexuaXy encounters, especially when I was a lizard, just ran through my mind. Also, Synchia's red faces were part of the images. Nice red faces. Mmmhmm~ But nope, not good images that I'm SEEING right now.
Bad. Bad monkeys.
Luckily there's no rapings around here, else I'd make them extinct for real.
Sigh. Ok fine. I'll bear with this.
I'll make YOU GUYS see moar in the future.
Heh. Heh. H- OMFG WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY TREE?!?!?!?!?!?
= = = = = =
Phew. I finally got over that DREADFUL NIGHT and UGLY furs. That naaaasty feeling lasted for one whole week. Yuuuuck. I swear my partners last time were all MUCH better.
Ewww.
I would never link myself with my trees in full ever again. I've learnt my lessons, and even if you cast a Forget spell on me, I doubt it won't go away that easily.
Ugh.
But hey, at least they DID apologize to me, the heavenly-blessed great sacred tree and the bestest best monkey loving friend of Sun Wutian: Arcaxia Mymir. Yeah, that's the LONGEST description I ever got so far, and I really hope that it won't be any longer.
Imagine if this is turned into an anime and how many seconds they have to waste by only addressing ME.
= = = = = =
Now remember that I can take over those plants? Yeap, I CAN do that towards ALL sorts of plants, without any difficulties... so far.
And...
I just realized that through taking over all those plants, I can actually learn, or get their attributes! What does that mean? Let me give you an example.
Since I wanted to grow a defensive garden as well, I would like to make some... "interesting" flowers. So let's take that first rose on the right.
A lot to read, right?
Yeah, it appears like that to me, too.
It's like, you know, those "Character Editing" screen? On the right it shows how the plant looks like, and the following attributes that you could edit. Also, the Unabled Body Parts are hidden and you need to press it out like a spoiler button.
But eh, I think the gods are pretty bad in utilizing HTML scripts, because rather than exact buttons they actually looked like bad-written scripts. Oh well. Better than nothing and have to figure out everything myself, right?
So, let's make some... offensive flowers.
This is not going to be edible or even delicious - it'll be as dangerous as it could. Full hardness, full sharpness, full... uh, POISONOUS. Even the roots themselves must be poisonous!
...ahhhh shit. Fine. Not the roots then. Sigh.
But, I could add something else!
Enable that Snap Trap!
10% for a snap trap? YES! After all, I can regain that in a niffy.
So, this is how the screen looks like now...
Petals: _Color: Crimson, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thin, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;
Leaves: _Color: Green, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;
Stem: _Color: Brown, Thorns: Enabled, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;
Stem_Thorns: _Size: Big, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Length: Long, Amount: A lot, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;
Roots: _Size: Big, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Length: Long, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;
Snap Trap: _Size: Big, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Poisonous_
Apply Element: Fire
...wait.
Now it looks like a small rose being paired up with a large Snap Trap.
Anatomically, it's really odd... but seriously, roses are never being paired with a snap trap so, anatomical what? That's not really important anymore, right?
But then, what if the enemies saw this and they be like "This must be a trap!"
Obviously they'd run away.
Hmmm.
Fine then, let's make a huge rose paired with a huge snap trap then!
Petals: _Size: Big, Color: Crimson, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thin, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous, Beautiful_ ;
Leaves: _Size: Big, Color: Green, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous, Beautiful_ ;
Stem: _Size: Big, Color: Brown, Thorns: Enabled, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;

Roots: _Size: Big, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Length: Long, Sharpness: Sharp, Poisonous_ ;
Snap Trap: _Size: Big, Hardness: Hard, Thickness: Thick, Poisonous, Beautiful_
Apply Element: Fire
Yeap! That's better!
And with that confirmed... Tadaaaa! I have a Snap Trapped Beautiful Rose! Why the beautiful? Obviously to lower the enemies' guard and, uh, trick them into touching those snaps?
"Ohhhh! What a beautiful flower~"
"Huh- WAIT!"
*SNAP!*
*BURNS!*
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTSSSSSSSS!!!"
"OH SHIT OH SHIT! RELEASE THE MONKEY!"
What a beautiful romance between an idiotic monkey and the vicious burning snapper. Sigh. I thought monkeys were wild animals and they're know better what to TOUCH and what NOT to touch.
I did not intend to make this trap to fool such intelligent creatures!
I need to have a word with Wutian about this issue, seriously. All of them monkeys NEED to be reeducated!
= = = = = =
So I have one whole week of lectures about plants - which are edible and which are not; which can be touched and which should be take note of. Of course, in this world of magic, there are a lot of other interesting plants that I do not understand... but all of those that I knew, I have CLEARLY imparted the knowledge into these monkeys.
F o r c e f u l l y.
Alright, luckily Wutian's the smarter one over here - I guess that's why he's the leader of the monkey tribe.
Aaaand speaking of that...
"Arcaxia," Wutian sat on one of my branches and spoke to me - serious and soft. There are no other people around here except for me and him. "What do you think of our people?"
"Hmmm... they're good? A lil' bit stupid when it comes to plants, but, eh - they're good enough. I never thought that one week crash course about normal and magical plants would actually get into their brain that easily."
"...hahaha, you're just a forceful teacher, Arcaxia," Wutian snicked, giving me a fistbump... to my branch? Shoulder if you put in human sense?
"So what do you want to talk about?"
"...heh, you know me by now, I guess," Actually I don't, but Wutian's really not the kind of person who'd be serious over some menial issues like "howz mah tribeeee". I've heard this tone for a very long time during my previous incarnations - it normally means that "I have something serious to talk about and this is only between you and me".
"I have something serious to talk about and this is only between you and me," See? I'm right! "It's... about naming the monkeys."
"Right. That. We had that conversation before," Remember the "rules and regulations" Wutian and I agreed upon? I will not and cannot randomly give out names, because they eat my lifeforce and I do not want people to just randomly get lifeforces from me. It's not about I do not have enough or not, but, I just don't want to exhaust myself THAT easily without the right reasons.
"I think... it's time to name another monkey," He spoke, looking into the forest where the other monkeys were. "It'll be my brother."
"Your brother?"
"Yeah. My little brother, from the same father," He spoke, grinning a little. "You know, that Water Monkey, Lil' Blue?"
"Uhuuuuuuuuuuh. That one. He's one cunning fella alright," I remembered him, and... he always have that shady look. It seemed that he's always the one who stole from his other companions, and laugh as he said that "it's a prank!" but... I've seen it.
It's not a prank.
It's like the prank is what it seemed from the outside, and because he didn't really do any harm so nobody really cared much about it... but he really mean it when he did those "pranks" or "stealing", laughing at the others of their misfortune and their idiocy. With such intelligence and acting skills, he's able to fool a lot of people.
But not me.
And I'm going to name this bastard???
"So... My lil' bro has been seeing me in a very hostile way..." Wutian's tail dropped, and so was his head. Ohwow. I thought I'm the only one that realized that! No no, no sarcasm. This is being completely honest! The other monkeys REALLY fall for his acts!
"I don't want it to be like that - I mean, he's the smartest and most hardworking monkey in this whole tribe," ...seriously??? Wait. If he could make those pranks works... I guess he IS quite hardworking. "I know and I understand why he's... jealous of what I have. Because I'm the eldest in the family, and the most capable monkey, I'm a high achiever. I am able to bring them food when nobody else can, and I'm best in scouting for any harms, leading them to safety. However, when he's capable of doing all those, he didn't got the praise that I got. The only thing he got was 'Well, his brother must have taught him well!' and 'You're just like your brother.'. However, when he did something not up to the challenge, people would just sigh at him, and said that I could've done better and he should work harder to be like me.
Honestly? He's not me. His body doesn't even shape like mine. I have the muscles, but he has none. Also, I never taught him ANYTHING. Rather, he learned everything by himself! Perhaps he DID imitate me, but he never asked for my help from anything, even though he's struggling. There's this one day where he revised a plan to chase off the orcs from our grounds, all by himself, even though the main offense was me... they praised me rather than him. It's like, he's a byproduct of my achivements. The truth is that, I'm not as smart as he is, but everyone just focused on my glory rather than his."
Oh wow. That's... That's such a tragic tale for an unloved child. I can see why he wished for other's misfortune and so that he could laugh at them.
"And now... now he just gave up in becoming like me. He became something else - something that's NOT me. The exact opposite of a leader... a total slacker with a high tendency to sin. While I really do not want him to resent me or view me as his enemy, I want him to feel appreciated and be glorified as the way I am - seeing the person as he is, not seeing him as a byproduct of my shadow!"
Wutian's emotions affect his control over his power, which started a lil' fire on my branch.
"HEY HEY HEY. THAT HURTS."
"Oh no! I'm sorry!" He immediately took control over his power back, and the fire resided. Phew! I didn't get my body burn, but there's a black scar over that branch where he sits alright.
"Anyway, I feel your anger..." But no I don't deserve that burn. "And I truly understood your feeling but... It won't be easy. I mean, you can't change the perspective of the other monkeys..."
Wutian sighed. "I know that... that's why I hoped that the naming ceremony will change his mind and be a better person. Hopefully he'll see my earnest wish and accept it..." He turned towards me. "I know this is hard for you, and maybe you don't want to give your lifeforce towards my... lil' brother because he could be such an ass. But, please...
If you deem me as your great friend, please grant me this wish."
...uhuh. THAT again.
"Well, any consequences if he's gonna rebel or whatever, you'll bear it, alright?"
"Of course, my friend," Wutian smiled, knowing that I agreed once I said that.
Sigh.
What a bothersome brother.
First, I was some sort of apple, then I met this r00d monkey who wanted to eat me whom later became my "greatest friend"... "Hmmm... they're good?

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 04: You're NOT my sunshine~
So.
Once my visions are back again... I saw a monkey.
Not just ANY monkey, but a monkey as BRIGHT as a sun... at least those hairs certainly are!
If you know what SUPER does to monkeys... then you're definitely seeing one Super-Monkey-Jin over here. Well, it still pertains its ape appearance though... more monstrous, even.
So, if you know what's an Ap*mon, then you probably could link this to that... but in case if you can't, I'll describe it for ya. Basically, it's a muscular ape with long arms, with its forearms being larger in proportion. The furs are golden yellow in color, with some tints of reds focusing mostly around his face, forearms, and knees. His hair is thick, bushy, and long unlike usual monkeys that have shorter furs (they don't even consider as hair). His tail is equally golden in color, while the tip is covered in red. He has skins, too, where they're shown at his face, hands, feet, and chest. They're grayish in color.
He opened his eyes - orange-red in color - and looked at me.
"I... have ranked-up."
"Well, congratulations!"
"Into an extinct species... of my kinds' ancestor..." He sounded very shocking, and very unbelieving. As if this is not a reality that he is or should be experiencing. He looked at his two hands, and then back at me. "A... A Great Sun Ape! It, it never happened like in millennials... I don't even know this kind of species actually existed!"
"Uh, wow, I..." This happened from naming this monkey? "Uh, w-well! Thank me then???"
"Thank you?" The monkey- no, his name is Wutian right now- looked EXTREMELY surprised. What, I don't earn that??? "That's the LEAST of the thing that I would do- no. That's too minor. A 'thank you' is not even enough for this gift...!"
Suddenly, Wutian BOWED- I repeat: HE BOWED. TOWARDS ME. A GROOT. HE BOWED TO A GROOT.
"U-Uh-"
"I will serve you forever, my lord."
E-EHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!?!
"H-Hold on! I d-d-don't really n-need that!" The last time I became someone's "lord" I cost all my partners and allies and everything else that I own sooooooooooo nope. I don't wanna become one THIS TIME. Or maybe RIGHT NOW. Everything just happened too fast! "R-Rather, just don't, uh, eat me anymore..."
"No! No one shall eat you!" He stood up, and became slightly... offended? "I will protect you from ANY harm, for you have restored my tribe's pride and glory!"
Eh. One rank-up worth this much? I never really knew...
"I-I see..." I blinked - if a tree can blink. "W-Well, uh, w-what's your plan now, then? I doubt that you should stay here forever to protect me - that ain't gonna work. And you're just one monkey."
"Be assured, my blessed tree. You may not have a name, but you surely have bestowed one towards a no-name like me... no, I WAS a no-name, and now I shall hold this name with pride and glory!
I am Sun Wutian, and I will lead my tribe," Suddenly he made some sort of vow in front of me. "I will make my tribe to enroot in this cave - to live here forever under your blessing, and to give you everything that we have!"
"Uh. I don't need your, uh, everything... if you mean shits. I mean, they might be, uh, good, but uh, I don't think I would enjoy them very much...? But yeah, anything else that you don't want - corpses are fine I think? - I can have them..." Alright. I have no idea what I'm talking about... I don't even know what should I do at this point! Everything's going so weird right now and there's this monkey that vowed that he will serve me because I bestowed him a name??? Why??? And then he ranked-up BECAUSE of that!
I don't understand.
Alright, firstly, let me tell you a... very long story.
When I was a human, normally I would have a name being bestowed by my parents - name easily gotten. When I was a Hakuko, same thing happened. But... when I was those other weird monsters, sometimes I got a name and sometimes I don't - but when I did, it was because I DID SOMETHING like that stupid Horned Rabbit's rank-up happened... or when I got to be the leader of the Lizardmen.
But then, I got nothing SPECIAL from being named! More like, it's because I did something special THAT'S WHY I got a name!
So what, if you don't earn your name, you... become special to match to your name??? Is this what's happening right now???
??????
I don't understand!
Either way, let's get back to this monkey and his... replies to my nonsensical demands, shall we?
"I..." He blinked, confused by my words. "O-Of course we won't defile you with our faeces but... are you sure corpses are fine?" ...what, that's the wonder you have towards my demands? Wow. You care more about corpses rather than faeces, hmm?
"W-Well, of course if they're 'fresh' it'll be nicer but, uh, I suppose corpses have a lot of nutritions too?" Alright, what am I bullshitting right now? What do I mean "fresher"??? Am I a tree who feeds on fleshes right now? So what, am I a Man-Eating Tree???
Ehwhat. I'm a Treant Protector??? Since WHEN?!
...Arcaxia Mymir? Who- Wait.
THAT'S MY NAME?!?!?!?!?
= = = = = =
Alright, so, I'm here waiting... for Wutian to bring his whole tribe here. I forgot how the process of us talking about the rules and regulations 'cause I'm too shocked to found out that I ALREADY got a name.
And I apparently can name people at the cost of my own... life? Mana? I don't know. What are my energies made of anyway?
Sigh.
Anyway, since waiting is a bit too boring, I've used my time to take over all the plants over here. Oh, by the way, it's not as EASY as you thought. First, you need to have enough mana to grow your roots. If they're far, you need MORE MANA to support the growth of your roots. Then, you need to have enough energies- life force?- to transfer a little bit of yourself to dominate the plant. Also, it takes some of your mana, once again, when you assign or alternate the roles and attributes of the plants. The more attributes you apply, or the more than you alter, the more mana you consumes.
Now, since I'm like, connected to the spring water and the ground and... well, basically all the nutritions, my lifeforce and mana didn't die off THAT easy but, eh, I DO get tired when I constantly used too many skills without any restrain. Also, the consumption of mana/lifeforce is larger than my regen-time. So yeah, I have to stop from time to time to get myself refreshed before I continue my job.
So, it took like 2 hours or 3 before getting everything in the cave to be under my control. Those outside the cave? Eh... Let's do it tomorrow.
"My dear, blessed friend Arcaxia, I'm back!" Oh, it's Wutian! By the way, he was VERY inclined to call me "Master" or something similar but eh, I really don't like that and I told him I just want to make friends so... now he's calling me his friend.
While keep on adding those random descriptions to a friend.
I just hoped that he won't suddenly call me his "sweet" friend or something... 'cause it'll sound totally gay.
Anyway, he brought his whole tribe here... and HOLY-MAMA. THE AMOUNT OF MONKEYS.
THEY'RE!!!
THEY'RE!!!
SO!!!
Few.
Like.
I'm expecting... 100? or 200? Or even a MASSIVE amount of 1000?
But this is like...
So few.
At most... 50?
I double-checked with my analyzing plus sensing power... yes. 47 of them, precisely.
Wow.
Why so few?
Did I... when I'm a human... killed most of them???
"So these are my tribesmates... that are willing to come with me," Oh. Ohhhh. So it's not my fault then? Phew. "The others are unwilling to come because they're too used to what they have... but even then, I'm not sure if the 13 of them could survive on their own."
13?! 13 + 47... 60?!?!?!?!?!
"Y-Your tribe... has only... 60 monkeys...?"
"Yeah," He replied, with a slightly sad face. "We used to - at least, from what our tribe-leader used to tell us - be an army of great apes and gorillas, enough to inflict fears and respects from all humans and monsters alike. We used to be equal to the heaven, or something. However, 100 years ago, a human warrior rampaged through our mountain, killed our leaders and slaughtered most of us. The remaining monkeys ran and hid, separated from each other. The sixty of us here were only part of the United Monkeys... we don't even know if the others survived."
...uhuh.
That sounds... like... Miarah Charrin...?
I mean, I DID get a mission to eradicate a nest of monkeys back then because they were posing quite a danger towards the castle soooooooooooooooo...
Ohoh.
I think I know now.
Like, so, is this what god has been planning for me? To be here, becoming their fruits tree, to bring back their numbers and tip back the balance?
"I... see..." I... tried my best to look sad and disappointed. "Well, I guess I shall help you guys out to regain your population and your strength, then!"
"!!!" Many monkeys were shocked.
"T-The great tree will?" Yes I will.
"But why?" Because I'm guilty and I'm responsible for your... near-extinction?
"The great tree is leader's friend, of course it will!" Hey, I'm a SHE. Well, at least you didn't say he.
"B-But is it possible? We're just... 47 monkeys!" Yyyyyeah... About that-
"If!" Wutian exclaimed, gaining everymonkey's attention. "If my dear friend, the great tree Arcaxia Mymir promised-" Hey hey hey I didn't PROMISE anything - I just say that I'd HELP. Not PROMISE. "-I'm very sure that we can get what we wanted. Look!" Suddenly, he plucked a fruit from the elemental fruits tree. "Look at this!"
"It's... a blue apple."
"I've never seen a blue apple!"
"Not just any blue apple - there seemed to be some sort of white freckles on it-"
"You," Wutian randomly pointed towards a monkey. "Eat this."
"Y-Yessir!" The monkey - a female? - moved forward with all four, and took the apple from Wutian. It looked at the apple with curiosity - as if marveled by its unique appearance - but didn't hesitate to eat it.
And then it happened again.
"O-OHHH!"
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"
"S-SHE'S GLOWING!"
"OH MY BUDDHA!" Oh, you're a Buddhist? Wait, there's Buddha(s?) in this world???
"Stand back, everyone!" Wutian spoke, commanding the monkeys to abide his command and they DID stood back... while he stood forward towards the glowing in light-blue-color monkey. He extended both of his hands and unleashed flames from his palm-
"Heyheyhey don't burn this garden down!"
"Relax, everything's under control..." Wow, I didn't saw him for hours and he already has so much confidence towards his power? Well, seeing how he spread the flames and joined them together into a fire barrier, surrounding the glowing monkey... AND not burning any of the grass... I guess, he really does?
After some while, the monkey's glow slowly faded away. Wutian released the fire barrier immediately and ran towards the monkey - now light-blue in color with darker blue marks on its face - inspecting her.
"Are you alright?"
"Y-Yes..." The light-blue monkey does sounded fine but, she also sounded... hesitant? "I... ranked-up."
"Uooooh!"
"That's awesome!"
"From eating that fruit?!"
"How is that even possible..."
"What are you?" Wutian asked - his hands on her shoulder.
"I'm... an Ice Ape," The monkey answered. Again, that gained a lot of discussions amongst the monkeys.
"Everyone, now do you understand what the great tree, my dear friend, Arcaxia can bring us?" He stood up, speaking to everyone around the cave. "I dare to say that, whatever she said it's possible-" Heyheyhey, NOOOO promises. "-WILL be promised to all of you!" Fuck.
"W-Well, I mean I can HELP but I'm not sur-"
"ALSO!" Ah. He broke my sentence. How dare, my friend. "She's the one who bestowed me a name!"
"UOOOH!??!?!"
"And from gaining a name, I have ranked-up into what I am right now... a Great Sun Ape!" He exclaimed, punching his fist into the air, pointing towards the sun. "A creature that was once EXTINCT and now, standing again!"
"OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
"And to show you all her miracle..." He turned around, and looked towards me. He... winked at me, before bowing down towards me. "Come, Ice Ape. Bow to the Great Tree and ask for a name!"
"D-Dear Great Tree Arcaxia," Eh, you really DO follow your leader's orders without questioning, eh? "Please grant me a name!"
Sigh. Fine. Another one that I need to think about.
"Alright, naming is a very delicate subject so... give me a moment to think for a suitable name for you, alright?" I sighed, while they all looked at me with twinkle eyes - waiting for me to announce the coming name for the Ice Ape. Sigh.
Let's see... If Wutian was a Fire Ape, like a bright flame - a leader and an aspiration towards the monkey tribe... then the Ice Ape should be something that could inspire the monkeys as well. If Wutian represents the sky, the positivity and the bright flame... then...
"I shall name you... Sun Wuming," I spoke, full with deep dignity. "If Wutian is to find enlightment from the bright sky, you shall find enlightment from the darkness. Just like Yin and Yang, Fire and Ice, you shall be his shadow, and help him to achieve a greater future!" My sound rang through the cave with power, and suddenly I'm being prompted to a question.
Yes. I'm positive.
And then, a flux of energy was extracted from me - the same thing that happened when naming Wutian happened again - and transferred into the Ice Ape. Immediately, the Ice Ape went through a transformation that's very similar to Wutian...
"I... ranked-up," She spoke softly after being bathed in purple lights for a while, and come to control her own body. "I became a New Moon Ape! An extinct species!!!"
"UOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!
"PRAISE THE GREAT TREE ARCAXIA!"
"Uh- Wait-"
"HAIL ARCAXIA!!!"
"BOW TO THE GREAT TREE!!!"
"H-Heyheyhey- No- Don't-"
"ARCAXIA!"
"ARCAXIA!"
"GREAT TREE ARCAXIAAA!"
Alright. Fine. I give up. I'll just... be here to accept their "worships" then. Sigh.
I looked at Wutian, and he just... winked at me.
Sigh.
What kind of friend ARE you?
Sigh.
You're really NOT my sunshine...
Once my visions are back again... I saw a monkey.

[ Do you wish to name this Ice Ape { Sun Wuming }? ]
[ Yes / No ]

When I woke up, aside from being amused by the various system notification sounds - that's a HUGE BUNCH of skills that I just learned! - I can feel the sunlight shining onto me. I absorbed its warmth and I feel super energized as if I ate a lot of delicious foods. My feet - I mean, roots (or reets?) - are deeply enrooted within the earth... it's as if I'm in a wonderful spa: warm and comfortable. Still... was the world this small? The trees beside me are clearly shorter than me, and the flowers... seemed like little kids.
Eh.
"Y-You really... grew..." Hmm? It's the sound of the monkey. Where was it? Can I even turn my head? "H-Hey! Don't just suddenly turn your body! You'll swing me out!" Eh? Swing you out? I'm turning my body??? But it confirmed that I'm able to turn around and look what's around me, using my eyes.
Of course, I could've just use my body to search. Man, I'm so not used to be a plant.
Getting accustomed to my new body, I realized that the monkey is actually hanging on one of my... arms? No, the branches. I found out that I can move my branches too! That's really amazing. It's like, I can grab into someone and throw them away, or sweep them away in defense.
Huh, neat.
"So... I guess you're not an apple now, right?" The monkey hesitantly asked, while still hanging on my branches. He's trying to look at my face from the above, I think?
"Well, duh, I'm no longer a Froot... BUT A GROOT!"
...
...
...
Yeah yeah, awkward silence. The monkey knows no humor. Why? Or was it because that in this world nobody knows about Groot that's why they really don't care about the name? Sigh. That's so sad.
"Cough. Anyway, from my recent, uh, evolution? I think I learned a few tricks..." All those growing stuffs and alternating stuffs... I wonder how will it work? "Maybe I'll try to grow... something?"
"Ohhh~" The monkey seemed excited this time.
"Alright... Here goes..." Let's see...
Grow... roots?
[ { Grow Roots } Skill Activated ]
OHOH!
Alright, so from above the ground, you will see NOTHING. But, under the ground, my roots actually GREW. Also, I can control how far they can grow! Let's see... what if I grow into that patch where I can grow delicious fruits?
[ { Delicious Fruits } Learned! ]
[ { Larger Fruits } Learned! ]
[ { Demigod of the Taste's Divine Blessing } Learned! ]
[ { Taste Alternation } Learned! ]
Wow. Within 5 minutes, I learned another 4 skills! Still, comparing this patch that I'm currently enrooted, that patch doesn't seemed to give me a lot of skills. Or maybe my roots just recently reached there? Hmmm.
If that's the case, let's spread the roots everywhere!
[ This plant does not belong to anyone. Do you wish to take over it? ]
[ Yes / No ]
I can do that??? Oh yeah, I have the Roots Domination skill... Uh, yes please?
[ This plant is now under your control. Do you wish to assign roles to it? ]
[ Yes / No ]
"...uh, apple- I mean, G-Groot? Whatever your name is... uh, you alright? You've been silence but your face kept on changing... What happened?" Oh, I played with unders too much that I forgot what's above.
"Well, it seemed that I can take over the other plants here and assign some sort of roles... but I haven't discover yet. Maybe I can REALLY turn this place into a fruits garden!"
The monkey seemed surprised. "If that's possible... Well, good luck Groot! I'll be rooting for you from here!"
...did he just-
Never mind.
Back to the plant.
[ This plant is now under your control. Do you wish to assign roles to it? ]
[ Yes / No ]
Yes please!
[ Choose a role: { Grow Fruits }/ { Grow Flowers } ]
For this one... Grow Fruits!
[ { Grow Fruits } Confirm? ]
[ Yes / No ]
Yeap!
[ { Grow Fruits } Confirmed. Which type of fruits? ]
[ Suitable Fruit Type: Apple / Pear / Cherry / Citrus / Banana ]
...Suitable Fruit Type? So there's unsuitable fruit types too? Huh. For this one... let's choose Apple!
[ { Grow Apples } Confirm? ]
[ Yes / No ]
Yeap!
[ { Grow Apples } Confirmed. Do you wish to add in other attributes? ]
[ Available Attributes: Elemental / Delicious / Larger ]
Uh, can I select all of them?
[ { Grow _Larger/Delicious/Elemental_ Apples } Confirm? ]
[ Yes / No ]
Oh wow I can. Yes please!
[ { Grow _Larger/Delicious/Elemental_ Apples } Confirmed. Please wait for a while... ]
First, I felt that my body somewhat extended towards that tree, and I somehow... played with the tree a little bit? Like, you're doing some science experiments on the tree, or arranging a puzzle, before you put it back nicely. Energies from my roots flowed into the tree as it grew larger and larger...
Then POP!
The first apple!
But, uh, why is that color... so odd?
"You just... made a tree that can't grow fruits, GREW a fruit!" The monkey exclaimed, hopping down from me and went "flying" towards the "apple tree". "And it's... an apple!"
"Y-Yeah... Since I was an apple, I think."
"But the color's... Was an apple's color supposed to be... like this?" Right. That's the weird part. Like, it's not green apples where it's unripe, or a normal red apple, or a darker red apple...
This apple is orange.
Like, not an apple where it's also an orange, the apple IS orange colored.
"Uhhhh... I don't know what's going on... but I'm very sure that that's an apple and it should be fine to eat it," Based on the selections I did just now - obviously it'll be like that.
"...alright, I'll try this."
*CHOMP*
"!!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?"
*CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP - GULP*
"UWOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"UWAAAH!?!?!?!?"
Suddenly the monkey growled super loud as he finished the orange apple. His body started to grow spikier and flames were unleashed. While the flames didn't really do much against me because of my minor all resistance, the grasses around him were burnt off!
"M-Monkey! Stop! The plants, they're dying!" Oh no, I have to do something! I've got to protect this place!
[ { Plant Alternation } is available. Do you wish to use it? ]
[ Yes / No ]
[ { Apply Elemental Resistance } is available. Do you wish to apply? ]
[ Yes / No ]
[ Highest rank of { Fire Elemental Resistance } is Minor. Do you wish to apply? ]
[ Yes / No ]
GODDAMMIT. MINOR. DAMN. Whatever, it's better than nothing... YES!
[ { Apply Minor Fire Elemental Resistance } Confirmed. Please wait... ]
I CAN'T WAIT DAMMIT. MAKE IT FASTTTTTT!!!
"UWAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
ALSO CAN I DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT FIRE MONKEY!?!?!?
[ { Grow Vines } is available. Do you wish to use this skill? ]
OMG YES!
And now from my body, I sprouted two green vines towards the monkey... but I couldn't reach the monkey! The flames, while they can't hurt me THAT much, are forming some sort of barrier. But...
"I can surround you with my vines!"
Surrounding the fire monkey with my vines, I forced the fire barrier to be smaller while I suffered a lot of burns from the fire. To be honest, they fucking HURTS. Like, even though you won't die being punched by a large dragon once or twice wearing an armor, it will still hurt when you were punched many times!
After some while, the fire finally subsided - not an effort from me, I could feel. I released the vines, and the monkey... the monkey's standing there...
But different.
Previously, the monkey's just like any other monkeys - with eyeliners, I think? But this time, the monkey had a burning long hair, spikier furs, and a crown-like head-piece with a very thick... eyebrow? Is that an eyebrow? I don't even know. But the furs around his face hardened to form some sort of glorious helmet while the fire hairs were spread out freely and passionately. The monkey also seemed to be bigger and more... confident.
Interesting.
"I... I evolved," The monkey spoke, looking at me with his red eyes. "I can't believe it. With that one single orange apple... I evolved into a Rare Variant of my own race! That's... That's really amazing...!" He gripped into a fist, looking at his own fist and then back to me. "Thank you, dear friend. I suppose not eating you in the first place is a right choice to make."
"Hahaha! Now you know what kind of miracles I can make!" I lied. I don't even know I can make these kind of things in the first place. "So... what do you want to do now?"
"..." The monkey looked at the ground once again, and looked around the cave. "If you could... I supposed turning this place into a fruits garden will be nice. I will bring my kind over here, and we will worship you. We will treat you as a god, and while we feed from your fruits. We will protect you from any sorts of dangers while you continue to provide us foods."
Hmm. That sounds like a good deal for a tree like me. But... I wasn't a tree before this. Do I want to stay forever in this place and only provide them good stuffs? I have my own role, too. Hmmm...
"If..." I started, softly. "Let's just say IF... If I am able to be free, able to walk with my two feet... or if one day I grew wings and able to leave this place..." I closed my eyes, before looking at the fire monkey. "Please do let me go, let me be free?"
"..." The monkey blinked. "I... never heard of trees able to grow feet or wings to get away from the places that they enrooted... but if such miracles DO happen, I will respect your choices. For, right now, you're my friend."
I smiled at that. "Your friend, eh? That sounds extremely pleasant. I like that. Nice to meet you... uh... what's your name?"
"...I... don't have a real name. But people called me A327."
...
Wtf is that kind of name?!
Is that a name for a prisoner?!
"Nonono. That won't do. You should get a better name than that... weird code," I frowned, while thinking of a good name for him. Since he's a fire monkey... hmmm... En... Ka.... Kaen... Wait. What about Sun Wukong? Nah, plagiarizing ain't good. What about the other titles from the monkey god then? Like, Dou Zhan Sheng Fo (Victorious Fighting Buddha), Qi Tian Da Sheng (Great Sage Equal of Heavens)... Mei Hou Wang (Handsome Monkey King)! I mean, he DOES look quite good too!
Wait. Using titles to name a person. Sounds pretty odd, isn't it? Sigh...
Eh. This is getting harder and harder to think about. I'll just randomly get pieces from Sun Wukong and give him a name like... "Sun Wutian!" Wait. Doesn't that translates into Son Goten who's also the son of Son Goku translated from Sun Wukong which means I also plagiarized-
...
Never mind.
[ Do you wish to name this Fire Ape { Sun Wutian } ? ]
[ Yes / No ]
Eh? I can do that? Uhhh... Yeah! Let's do that then!
"Sun... Wutian...!" The fire monkey widened his eyes as the name was bestowed upon him. Speaking of which... I could feel a patch of magical energy extracted from myself and transferred towards him.
Eh?
Ehhh???

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 02: Rooting time!
After a couple of ten minutes covered with the monkey's palm sweat, the monkey somehow found something to feed himself with, and then found a place for me to stay.
"Hmm... This seemed to be a good place for you, apple," The monkey spoke, and showed me the place. It's a mountain with a huge cave - surrounding it was countless trees and blooming flowers. However...
"It's weird that there's no fruits around here, right?" The monkey sighed. Correct. If this is a place filled with fruits, obviously the monkey(s?) would've chose this place to stay. Alas, there's none. How odd.
"Beautiful greens and colorful flowers, yet no fruits. Odd, indeed..." Perhaps they didn't managed to get any fruit tree seeds over here. Sad. "Alright. I'll turn this place into a fruits garden then!"
"...I'm still not quite sure how you have that confidence," Nope. I just acted that I have so that you will not eat me. "But I'll just let you be then."
"Ok!"
"..."
"..."
"...so...???"
"...uh, I think you have to bury me somewhere???"
"...make sense."
The monkey brought me to a spot where there's already a lot of trees. He dug a little hole, and stuck me into it.
Huh. It prompted me a computer-like question. Neat.
Yes please?
Eh.
"Monkey."
"What?"
"I don't have enough space to take root here. I can't grow well here."
"...oh."
The monkey picked me up, and brought me to a super empty space... like, there's only weeds here. No flowers, no trees... just nothing. He dug a hole and stuck me in again.
"Monkey. This time I lack of nutritions."
"...tsk."
He picked me up again, and looked around. He tried to stuck me into various places but...
"This is getting harder and harder..." I sighed, got tired from all those messages. How odd that such a beautiful place... have poisonous area and insects that could affect my growth!
"Apple. I'm gonna eat you now. This is getting troublesome," Eh eh eh, the grip is getting tougher! Can you not???
"Wait wait! Uh, I'll... uh, try to ask for help??? Or you could always place me on the ground and let me choose a spot rather than you choosing a spot for me???"
"...hmph. Last time, alright?" Phew. I'm saved from being dead within his grip. Now... I'm placed on the ground. Hmmm. What can I do? I need to search for a place where I can root and grow properly-
Wow. That can be done too? Neat. Yes please?
Oh wow. Suddenly, I could feel the earth... where the water flows, where the wind blows... and where's the good stuffs... Like, if you see the ground as trees and grasses? I see the ground as blue, orange, red, and green. Blue indicates the water; orange indicates the ground being not nutritious enough; red simply indicates that I couldn't take root at that point for various reasons; green are the best spots with high nutritional values and enough water for me to grow... wait. There's also a purple spot. Was that the poison spot? So... that point is not red, like, I CAN take root there? It's just that the poisons will turn my fruits poisonous?
Huh.
That will definitely be a great help in the future, I think.
But now... let's just take root at that green spot over there-
WOAH!
Suddenly, the spots that were colored are now being paired up with numbers and descriptions! While I understood that oranges and greens were ok for me to take root upon, I didn't know that I can grow into different kinds of plants if I chose to grow in different spots!
There's this one spot with medicinal values, while the other one will help me to grow delicious fruits. Then there's a spot where I will not be able to grow fruits at all, but I can became a great treant that have strong woods and sharp leaves to kill my opponents... huh. If I want to, I could grow into that and kill off this monkey? Is that what it means?
Nah.
I made a promise, and I shall try my best to do it.
"Uhhhhhhhh... Monkey."
"What?" Uh oh, the monkey sounded very annoyed. Was I taking too long?
"Do you want, uh, medicinal fruits, or delicious fruits, or... uh, e...le...mental... fruits??? What's this?"
"?! Elemental fruits you say?!" That monkey suddenly sounded very surprised. Why???
"Y-Yeah. Why?"
"Those are legendary fruits! Once you ate the fruit - depending on the portion - you will gain the power from the fruit, and possibly evolve into a greater being!"
...oh. Like that one where I was a Horned Rabbit and ate that something legendary fruit which turned me into a massive moving destruction?
"I want that, apple! Please! If you managed to grow fruits, I swear that I will take care of you for my entire life!" Hold on hold on, why does that last phrase sounded like a wedding proposal. I don't want you, monkey. Even if it's a monkey, I want a female one.
But, eh, free health cares. Why not?
"Alright then! Please plant me nearby the spring, a few feet away from the red flower."
"Ok!"
The monkey hastily picked me up, went to the place where I told him, dug a hole, and nicely placed me into it - as if he's afraid that he'll hurt me. Huh, suddenly my value go up so high, huh.
Yes please!
U-Uwoooh!!!
I can feel my body breaking out, and... roots started to go down to the ground. I felt the softness and the humidity of the ground. It's... so comfortable! I have never felt so comfortable in my whole life! I mean, aside from being in bed. Heh.
Man, suddenly I felt so great being a plant. I can feel myself drinking up the water, and eating all the earth that's surrounding me. It's so comfortable to be here... and it'll be nice if I can just...
Sleep.
"Hmm... This seemed to be a good place for you, apple," The monkey spoke, and showed me the place. It's a mountain with a huge cave - surrounding it was countless trees and blooming flowers. However...

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 01: I'mma Froot!
Everything around me... just pure darkness. I couldn't feel anything - just mere conscious. What am I this time? Where am I? Am I an embryo? Am I within an egg like when I was a lizardman? Or am I within a body like when I'm a human?
I couldn't help but felt the excitement.
Suddenly, I felt my body tremble, yet I can't seemed to move. Do I even have any vision? By the "looks" of it, I guess not. As I searched further, I realized that... I'm outside, dangling. I'm connected to something... I can feel a flow of energy from the large... tree? I'm a tree? No, I'm attached to the tree- wait. What am I???
Am I a-
"Hmmm..." Eh? Somebody's here? I can hear something, coming closer towards me. Then, I felt my body being poked. What the heck?
"Ahh!"
And suddenly, a sharp pain! Now I felt disconnected from the large tree, and I suddenly gained vision.
IT'S A FUCKING MOUTH. IT'S GONNA EAT ME!!!
"WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD UP! HOOOOOLD UP!!!" I quickly screamed from the bottom of my lungs- do I even have lungs- trying to gain attention and hoping that whatever that's going to eat me will stop... and it worked! Yay!
"...huh?" It's... a monkey? Oh my god! "...my imagination?"
"NONONO. NOT YOUR IMAGINATION. I'M TALKING RIGHT HERE, CAN YOU SEE ME?!" Ah. What am I saying. How could I, something that's grown from the tree, a food for the monkey, have any faces to show him?
"...I must be too hungry. I can see a face on the apple," Wait. You serious? I have a face? HOLYSHIT-
"Yes but NO! I'm NOT an apple!"
"...what?"
"I'm a FROOT!"
...
...
...
Well. To be honest I'm pretty happy with my announcement... but the monkey obviously found it NOT funny and decided to-
"HOLD UP. HOLD UP."
"I'm not gonna talk to my food," Damn. This monkey is damn chill!
"WAIT! I CAN HELP YOU!"
"...help me?" Alright. He finally stopped. WHEW.
"Ok. I'm a froot, right? Or an apple - however you view me - BUT HERE'S THE THING! If, think about this, you can find a place to plant me... I can grow roots!"
"...aaand?"
"And I can become a tree! Duh! I can grow MORE fruits! ...or apples. Whatever I am."
Hah. Not often that I saw a monkey frown... that's interesting. And he's clearly thinking about this!
"...and how long do I need to wait for you to bear fruits?"
"Weeeeeeeell..." That's, a good question, dear smarty monkey. Why are you so smart? If I'm a normal fruit, perhaps it'll take months or even years to grow into a tree, BEFORE I start to even bear any fruits. But eh... "I'm not a normal fruit so... Probably an instant?"
The monkey raises an eyebrow. "You... sure?"
"...ehhh... not really. Oh come on, it has a lot of factors, alright? The water, the weather, the land, the nutritions- AHH HOLD UP HOLD UP WAAAAAIT DON'T EAT ME I'M GETTING TO THE BEST PART HERE!!!"
"...I don't REALLY have much patience, little apple. I'm very hungry here."
"Right right..." Damn. This is nerve breaking. I don't really want to DIE before I can even try to LIVE dammit. This is possibly the WORST reincarnation experience EVER. Or maybe not. The pig one might be worse than this... But eh. "Think about this: If you really managed to get me a good place, I might be able to grow in an instant! As the old ones said - Never try, never know!"
"...hmmm..."
"I mean, seriously, obviously this is the first time you met a talking apple, right? So surely you never tried planting a talking apple, right?" Yeah, I just knew that there're talking apples... if I'm not born as one. Seriously. "So try it out! And if I don't meet your expectations - eh, you'll know next time what to do with a talking apple, right? But hey, this time. Just this one time. Please?"
"...fffine..." The monkey seemed reluctant. Well... honestly speaking? He should! I don't even know if I can even bear fruits or even grow into a tree like this. But, I'm a fruit right? From a fruit tree, right? Surely I can become a great tree and bear equal quality fruits too!
...wait. Equal quality fruits as in... more talking apples???
Nonono. Let's not think THAT far...
But hey, at least now the monkey seemed persuaded, and started to bring me around to search for some good places... wait. Is that tree winking at me?
< Good job, young one. >
Eh?
EHHH?!?!?!
YOU KNEW I WAS IN TROUBLE AND YOU DIDN'T HELP ME?!
< It's not that I don't want to help you... I j--- c---ldn't---m-ve--- Oh, ---line -s v-ry- bad---can't-----m--- l--ger---
So yeah, good bye little one~ Good luck~ >
EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~
OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE A GREAT LINE AT THE END?!?!?!?
"The heck..."
"What were you saying?"
"Oh! N-Nothing! Keep looking! Keep looking! Ahahaha~"
And this is where my journey to search for a rooting place began.
I wonder how many people will be, uh, rooting for me.
WHEW.

Re:Monstars ~ Prologue 02: Lesson Learned
So I chose to die... again and again... until I'm reborn as a Lizardman.
FINALLY.
While I still don't really understand how things can work, I THINK as a LizardMAN I might be able to do something... like, learning human languages!
I mean, surely this would be easier than being a bee, a slime, a black horse, a rat, a chicken... whatever. THOSE, ok? THOSE. Those that couldn't even pronounce "a" properly without even making other weird sounds! I can't even "Ah" when I'm in bed!
Dammit.
So yeah. As a Lizardman. My rate of learning different languages should be MUCH easier now!
I leveled up myself - as usual - and continued forward to gain some friends to help me out with my journey. Some seemed surprised about my plans, but some just seemed to look forward to it.
So, since I was a human born in this world, I've already learned all kinds of human languages... now it's the matter of re-learning how to speak using a lizard's vocal cord. It took me like a few days to learn the human language - GREAT! - and now I can finally converse with one... though I haven't really try it out yet.
Humans aside, speaking "monster" is another thing that I need to learn. After using "Stealth" to get close to a Goblin settlement, I found out that they speak in the way that's close to Orcs and Humans... so it increased my chance to learn the language. The longer I listen to them, the easier I learn. So... in between my daily survival jobs and needs and training myself 12 hours a day, I came to hide close to the Goblin's settlement and learn their language.
Viola!
[ Goblin Speech Learned! ]
That took me like, a few weeks? And now, I proposed an idea to my chieftain to open trade with the Goblins. From my stalki- I mean, scouting experiences, I realized that they're actually pretty good with the forest, while the Lizardman tribe does better in the sea. So, if we managed to trade whatever we gathered from different places, perhaps we can establish a better economy and hopefully making an alliance in the future? If we can help each other to survive, there might be a better chance for me to make peace with more settlements.
I mean, we don't really NEED to kill each others to survive, right?
But will the other party accept my idea? That's the thing where everyone's questioning.
Nevertheless, since I'm the only one who learned Goblin, I'm entrusted to negotiate with them - which I would have already done if I do not require permissions.
So, I came to the Goblin settlement and WOAH THEY NEARLY KILLED ME! Thanks to my constant dodging when it comes to moles- I mean, examining fellow females in my tribe, those arrows meant nothing to me.
But eh, arrows... Last time when I was a human, Goblins were weaklings and they're stupid. They have low intelligence and they only know how to fight with lowly weapons - without formations. Through my constant observations, however, there's a strong leader with high intelligence here. Otherwise, the Goblins wouldn't know how to create bows and arrows, learn how to ambush people with arrows, or making loads of traps outside their, uh, cave???
"WAIT! I'M HERE TO NEGOTIATE!!!"
That clearly caused confusions between the Goblins. They couldn't comprehend how a Lizardman could speak their language. After a few moments, they sent out a team of heavily equipped strong Hobgoblins.
"You. Lizard. The leader calls."
"Come alone."
Eh. Alone.
"C-Couldn't I bring at least ONE guard with me? I mean, it's obvious you guys can just kill me off inside when things gone bad and probably nobody will know so... if the negotiation takes a very long time, I don't want them to went on a rampage simply because they don't know how to speak with you guys... alright?"
The Hobgoblins looked at each other, then back at their base. Someone gave an ok from the inside, and they nodded.
"You can bring two."
"Alright!" I grinned at them, and picked my most trusted comrades with me. So I walked in, and...
Wow. It's like a dream.
The leader is a female hobgoblin. Not to say that she's very attractive, but she's definitely a beauty in my eyes. It's funny how the discussion happened from open trade between our settlements to, uh, clearing the room off except for the both of us to have some very, very, private discussions.
Cough.
Anyway, she accepted our tribe's request to open trade with her... and also some other things that we privately agreed upon. So from today onwards, the relationship between the Goblins and the Lizardman is strong and soon we started an alliance. We didn't really "conquer" the rest of the forest... rather, we actively went searching for more possible partners.
And people started to question what are the "partners" that we're looking for. Well, not ONLY trade partners, of course!
Aaand after like a year and more, the whole forest became a community. Soon, it evolved into a thriving town of monsters where humans were welcomed as long as they do not cause any troubles to the people in the forest. Rules were set and posts were made. Lovely partners everywhere and things were going fine...
Until this one day where a human came to us and offered to open trade with us as well. Well, obviously we accepted... but damn, the prices were high and the items ain't all that great. We argued with the humans but obviously they were looking down at us monsters. When we broke off the agreement later, the humans came to sue us for breaking off the agreement. Obviously they couldn't do anything about us monsters, so...
Bad rumors started and suddenly a group of adventurers took on the mission to destroy the city of monsters. Why would they do that??? They're allowed to use the city's facilities and yet they just threw that privilege away! Some of the humans tried to negotiate with them too... but it seemed like the pay is too good to pass this chance up.
Eh.
What the fuck?
Anyway, to defend ourselves, obviously we tried our best to defeat the adventurers without killing them... but even that wouldn't help the situation. After numerous mission failures, deeming us as a threat, the humans started to send in armies to destroy us.
What the heck-
Dude. We didn't do wrong! What makes you want to destroy us?! Is living in peace and harmony that hard?! Moreover, you were the ones that do us wrong! All we did were only for self-defense! This is unfair. This is injustice! Why would you take up missions like that and destroy the monsters without even listening to their plead?
...
Come to think about it, when I was a human, I was constantly taking up missions because, well, I can. I have the capabilities, and the pay was good. I never once questioned the motive behind the missions. I just... took on them. Racking up on experiences, building up reputations, gaining more comrades to take on higher ranked missions so that I can have more fame and fortune...
Everything's... like a game.
But no. This is CLEARLY not just a game!
I...
I finally realized it...
I truly brought calamity when I was a human. I didn't cared about the consequences. I was foolish and selfish, even though I thought what I did were for the fellow humans and cared nothing for the monsters - because I didn't even treat them as a living being. I treat them merely as golds and experiences; missions and reputations.
Damn.
Damn it all...
= = = = = = = = = =
And then I opened my eyes again, remembering the last scene that happened in front of me - houses were destroyed and people were killed. The humans were coldblooded killers, thinking only about the pays rather than the lives that they killed. One more dead monster equals to one more gold and/or experience - bringing them closer to leveling up and learning new skills. No matter if they're truly evil or innocent - they just killed them all because they were all foods for their greed.
Sigh.
All my partners... I hope that they survive. I mean, if I'm the foolish one who started everything, I'm the one that should die in the first place. I guess I'm too naive to think that we can successfully have peace and harmony with everyone including the humans, whom only see us as nothing but lowly monsters.
Golds and experiences.
"Do you see the truth now?"
Yes, my dear god. I have.
"Do you regret your past actions?"
Yes. Yes I do. I have destroyed families and happiness. I didn't even cared about how they would feel. I took their child and lured them out, to kill them off and then killed the child - neglecting their plead for their child's safety as they would exchange their lives for me.
I couldn't understand them.
I'm... a devil.
A true monster.
"Good," The white robed figure stood in front of me. I couldn't see the face of his clearly, but I do see the smile on his face. "Now, do you know what do I mean by balance in the world?"
...kind of? I mean, all I learned from being a Lizardman were my ignorant actions causing destructions... but I can't see how to balance things up.
"Hmph, of course it's not that easy to learn how to balance the world. What do you think you are, a god?" Ah, it's Synchia. She didn't seemed to be as furious as I first seen her. "Well, at least you learned your lesson. There's no need to be extremely angry this time."
So... I'm doing better now? I'm closer to the path of balance?
"I guess it would be... and to help you out, your past experiences and blessings from various gods will keep on following you in this reincarnation."
Eh. Speaking of blessings... I REALLY racked up a lot of them during my time as a Lizardman, eh?
"UGH! Speaking of those disgusting actions you did... How dare you have partners from all over the places?! Y-You caused weird hybrids to be born a-a-and you're a female and yet y-you just-! I-I-I couldn't believe you j-just- UGH!" Ara. Dear god Synchia's all red right now. Have you been watching? "O-Of course I have! I have to monitor your actions as a creation of mine and so that you wouldn't go around and destroy stuffs again and finally understand your actions but T-THIS-" Well, it's hot right? "S-SHUT UP!!!"
"Cough. I think we should continue on with her journey of balancing the world now..." Alaraid spoke, preparing something...?
"Oh dear, I wonder what kind of sexy things that she will do now. Mmhmm~ <3" Eh, there's another god around here??? I didn't saw her before?
"It's very intriguing seeing all sorts of creatures managed to find out new ways to pleasure each other. I have never thought of them..." And yet another god? He's pushing his glasses???
"WHY ARE ALL OF YOU SO INTERESTED IN HER FUCKING LIFE?!" Yeah! My "fucking" life! "S-SHUT UP YOU INSOLENT- UUUUUUUGHHH!!!" Ara, red again~ How cute~ <3 "FUCK YOU!" Ooohhh~ Is that an invitation? "D-DAMMIT!!!"
Ah. Sho cute. <3 I don't mind bearing her loud screams everyday... if you get what I mean.
"NO I DON'T AND I DON'T WANT TO GODDAMMIT SHIT JUST GO DOWN AND REINCARNATE ALREADY!!!"
Aaaaaaalright~ As you wish~ I'll find more ways to make you proud, ok?
"Alright, alright, it's time," Alaraid sighed and patted on me - I have a head? "Good luck young one. We'll watch over you from here...
...though... you might find yourself loads of challenges. I guess you could handle them smoothly."
Eh?
Ehhh???
EHHH---?!
FINALLY.

Re:Monstars ~ Prologue 01: I Am Reborn... and Reborn and Reborn and-
So. I am reborn.
But no, my name is NOT reborn.
That's obviously the name of a certain- whoops. I nearly spoil it out.
Anyway, I'm reborn into a... tiger cub. I guess. Well at least I can see that my parents are both Hakukos - white tiger-men - and they're a strong bunch of monsters. Though, I never once seen a civilized version of them. I've only heard tales of them making villages and living the nomad lives so... this is my first time seeing and also experiencing a nomad, Hakuko, lifestyle.
It's interesting - seeing how my tiger-dad was to happy to see me started to walk, and taught me how to fight, while my mom be like "DADDY SHE'S ONLY 1 MONTH OLD!" I mean yeah seriously I just LEARNED how to walk and you wanted me to kick the moon out from the river already. Sigh.
But yeah. Not entirely... monstrous, I guess.
I felt the warmth and love coming from my tiger-parents, and I wanted to do them proud.
After all, being reincarnated as a Hakuko means you gotta live the Hakuko style right?
Including hunting animals (small monsters) for food and occasionally humans for food, too.
So yeah.
Every day, I practiced the Hakuko fighting style. Every day, I hunted in the Hakuko style. But no, that's obviously not enough. I have experiences! I know a better way to deal with this. So I started to win the favors of everyone and managed to gain an army.
If they don't... eh, I'll have my ways. HEH.
So I taught them how to fight and blahblahblah weaknesses of humans and monsters and shits... viola! A huge mercenary army, ready for me to command over them! Those that defy me? HEH. OFF YOU GO~
Then, after like 10 years I kind of conquered the mountain and became the king of the mountain. Eh, once a hero forever a hero. Now, I'm the hero to the Hakukos. I'm goddamned successful! Of course, I'm not as great as Miarah Charrin but as a Hakuko? Eh! I'm like the king of the monster, or something! Pinnacle of the strongest! I could say I understand the monster's side of the story already... right?
That should earn me the pass of not-reincarnating again, right?
= = = = = =
"YOU IDIOT!!!"
Ah. I'm being scolded. I'm dead from the fight against the legendary enemy of the Hakuko - The Silver Oni - and once again I'm here in this blank room.
"THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT THE MONSTERS!!! YOU DO NOT JUST BEAT UP EVERYONE AND/OR EAT THEM ALL IF THEY WERE TO DEFY YOU!"
But I made my parents proud! They were so happy during the coronation ceremon-
"IDIOT! THAT'S NOT HOW IT SHOULD- UUUUUUUUUURGHHH!!!"
"Calm down Synchia..."
"YOU. YOU TAKE CARE OF THIS!"
Ah. Again she poofed away. I have once again caused her anger and she can't even do anything towards me. Synchia, the god that governs over... monsters? I think? Couldn't do anything to me while I'm a Hakuko because I receive a certain blessings from her as well. Ehhh... sad?
"Sigh. Enough wasting time. Let's move on to your next life."
Eh fi-IIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA------
= = = = = =
So now... I'm a Horned Rabbit! A... weakling, I guess. If I were to remember, Horned Rabbits are like some sort of low-leveled monster that you couldn't even NOT defeat... like, all adventurers MUST know how to defeat this.
Eh.
So... what's my role here? Experiencing the life as a weakling?
Alright. Tactics time. Previously I ruled over everyone and killed everyone that defies me and... whatever, and became a hero. So... probably this time I'll just gonna be a nobody - do not kill and do not be killed?
SOUNDS GREAT!
LET'S DO THIS!
"La la la la la~~~"
I have been living my days wandering around the woods and escaping from all sorts of dangers... to the extent of learning "MAX Intuition" and escaping everything bad. Good, good! I'm very good! I can do this! I can do the "do not kill and do not be killed" thing!
But... then... because of intuition, too, I somewhat bumped into some sort of legendary fruit or something. I ate it, and POOF!
I evolved into a Diamond Horned Volcrabbit.
I'm now having a body made of lava, and one large, sharp, diamond horn on top of my head. I gained the mass of a tree, and constantly terrorizing every single monsters/weaklings around me.Well, it's not that I can help it since my whole body is covered in volcano... I just... kinda burned off everything. Even dragons consider twice before they tried to get close to me... and when they do...
Eh.
My horn's too stronk.
Ah, fuck.
I think I fucked up.
Like, I wanted to FUCK them up, the RIGHT way, but...
UGH.
Can I find someone that could bear my drill without succumb to its strength so easily? I mean, it's not easy to gain a horn on your head! With this I'm supposed to be able to pierce through all sorts of heavens! But no, I pierced too far and all heavens were destroyed in that instant.
Ugh.
My stupid intuition.
Now I burnt down mountains and forests and villages and everywhere I've been and now I'm facing a group of Rank SSS Adventurers ready to take me down.
Fuck.
And I've killed all sorts of things that I shouldn't be killing. Even if I'll be suicidal this time and sort of gave up fighting, I'm very sure this time...
= = = = = =
...I'm gonna be reborn again.
Yeah, they didn't even waste their time to summon me back into that room. Waha.
Good, now I don't need to listen to Synchia's whining. Sigh.
Now... what am I? A... wolf.
I'm in a pack of Dire Wolves.
Huh, neat.
Now. In my previous life, I'm just trying to survive. Not as a weakling Horned Rabbit but as a mere survivor. Learning that shitty intuition skill and accidentally made my life miserable.
Sooooo...
In my current life, I wonder if I can live my life fully as a normal Dire Wolf and die as a normal Dire Wolf instead of accidentally killing random shits that's somehow getting in my way?
Alright!
Hunt as a wolf!
Move as a wolf!
Fight as a wolf!
Eat as a wolf!
You're a wolf, a Dire Wolf!
Be with the pack and be a part of it!
No, I don't want to be the leader I don't want to evolve I just wanna be a normal Dire Wolf!
Don't give into the temptation of great power and great safety!
Just be the wolf, the normal Dire Wolf you are!
Now... DIE AS A WOLF TOO!
A PROUD, FULL, DIRE WOLF!!!
= = = = = =
...and the heck, I'm being reborn again.
What's wrong with me being a Dire Wolf and living as a Dire Wolf???
I AM a Dire Wolf- wait. I guess right now I WAS a Dire Wolf...
...
Dammit. I don't understand this. I can't rule over everyone, I can't play super safe, and I can't play as what I am??? Or... I'm simply NOT being what I am?
What am I?
Right now, I'm an Orc - not the green one; the PIG version.
But really, that's not the most important, isn't it?
Why do I keep on getting reborn? It's not being "living as what you are", or, live the best out of your life... isn't it?
My role is obviously not to entertain the gods? Or was it? Obviously they were angry because I tip off the balance... but what's the balance?
What's truly the balance that they're searching for???
The equal population of humans and monsters??? Is that really the thing? Or for everyone to live in peace and harmony???
Right now, I'm an orc. I'm a pig, then? So am I a food for the other monsters?
Well, if I'm gonna be reborn anyway, let me try this out then.
= = = = = =
Obviously that's not the right answer.
And damn, being chewed on and crushed upon... and being played around was not an enjoyment.
Perhaps that would entertain the gods? I mean, I suddenly received some sort of "Blessing of the Sadistic Demi-God". Eh. I don't get it. What does this do and how this will help me? Obviously, it doesn't. It's like, in games, you made an achievement. Sometimes they give you bonus, but sometimes... it's like a title to win over but without any usefulness. It's just A THING to work on after you finish the game... or something. It's not needed to complete the game, obviously.
So.
That aside, what am I right now? A... Red Bear? Huh.
I'm clearly having the strongest base form at this moment - as a monster I mean - after I kept on getting reincarnated. Sounds funny when it seemed like a game where each time you die your specs will be carried forward and so when you reborn you will have a stronger base than you had before-
But of course, we wouldn't know that for sure, right?
Wait, isn't Hakuko the strongest out of all?
...
Eh. We're wrong then.
Wait. Who are "we" anyway? Who am I talking to? Ah, myself. Of course. How are you? I'm fine. Nice to meet you too!
...
I'm very sure I'm going crazy at this point trying to think about how to get away from all these reincarnation. Sigh.
Ok. So. Maybe I should be like, you know, steer clear from the humans until I can somewhat communicate with them and try to tell them that I'm not an enemy and I'm not trying to hurt you? And also try to live in peace with all sorts of monsters that I came across?
Is that the right way?
I don't know. But all I know was being a Red Bear toughens the path that I'm trying to take. As a Red Bear, I naturally has a bounty on my head. Plus, my... "drops" (sounds wrong as if it's like bird drops - you know what I mean?) will be very beneficial for them - to make stronger armors and weapons. It's hard to try to NOT killing any humans, yet, trying to survive.
Also, trying to make friends with the monsters were equally as hard too. First, all monsters just tend to run away at the sight of me - even when I was a little cub. Or was it because of my terrorizing mother right behind of me? Man, I wanted to rebel so many times against her and run away from home... but doing that probably will sadden her.
Or will it make her proud?
Either way, I've already chose my path to be a good girl towards my mother. I still tried to hunt down normal animals and only feast upon them, but tried to reason out with any monsters that I came across... which is obviously not working because we couldn't understand each other. Any actions from this Red Bear threatened the other party and usually I just got into fights...
Sigh.
Being a Red Bear is fucking tough.
I don't even know how to learn other monster's languages!
Yes, this is the SECOND part of the hard part!
Dammit.
What am I supposed to do? Just die, and hopefully my next body will be a body that's capable of doing everything that I wanted to do???
