Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 10: Naming Ceremony!

Finally... the day of the Naming Ceremony!

But this ceremony seemed more like a fashion banquet more than ever. For example...

You will find a female Fire Ape, dressed in a beautiful dress filled with red autumn leaves accompanied with coconut shells on her chest. It matches her fur color nicely and enhanced her fiery nature. Accompanying her was cherry bracelets and necklaces made from red apple skins.

Then another one is a male Light Ape, dressed in charcoal black coat made of colored leaves... though you can see that the color is falling, but it's also part of the fashion as the dark leaves made them blended in nicely. Accompanying him was a hat made of watermelon skins and vines. Although he wears no pants, he still seemed like a gentleman.

The last one that's unique enough was a female Wind Ape with purely vines circling her entire body. I wonder how long she did that, but the effect was marvelous.

From my perspective, their fashion senses were good enough that top designers would have wanted these to be showcased... if they weren't that uncomfortable to wear, I guess. But hey, designer's clothes were weird as fuck so I think they're not that comfortable to wear too. Perhaps they can consider the dress made of vines?

Other than them, well, you will see a lot of weird fashions going on here and then. Watermelon helmets, cucumber and eggplant necklace, rattan dresses (aren't those like super uncomfy? they're made of rattans... they're very hard, right???)... etc.

But that is only PART of the attraction of the day. The other one was...

"Mmmgh! This soup! So creamy and smooth... they just... dissolved the moment they entered my mouth! This is amazing!"

"I can't believe potatoes and tomatoes could go so well with each other! This is... Potamato Soup!"

Yeap. Over there, there's something like a master chef competition going on.

"This rabbit meat is so tender and fluffy... The spices is nice, and the pumpkin sauce is great!"

"You should try the meat with the mushroom sauce too! They really sauced up my world!"

But eh, is it me or...

"Oh my god! This watermelon... this strawberry... The redness of this dish! Beautiful!"

"They taste great too! Melons and berries... Next time we can try Wintermelon and Blueberry! Oh my, that sounds chilly in my brain already!"

Their commentaries... sounded off somewhere???

Eh. Whatever.

Those events aren't really important for me anyways. After all, the reason why this banquet was being held is all because of the naming ceremony. Sooooo yeah.

"Oh great tree Arcaxia, would you like to taste some of the rabbit meats?" One of the monkeys came to me, while holding a variety of food. "Or the Potamato Soup! They really taste great with the sauces!"

"Are you an idiot? The great tree has no mouth... surely she can't eat them!" The other monkey that came along with the monkey hit on the first monkey's head.

Well, she's not entirely incorrect. I have a mouth but I have no digestion system that connects to my mouth. Technically speaking, I couldn't eat those foods. But... seeing how they held them with great respect, I shall try my best to taste them at least?

[ Skill { Grow Plant } selected. Which type plant would you like to grow? ]

Grow, hmmm, if I want to have something to chew... uh... Venus Flytrap, then?

[ { Grow _Venus Flytrap_ Plant }, confirm? ]
[ Yes / No ]

Yes please.

And so, from the ground right in front of the two monkeys, a green sprout suddenly shot up and immediately grew a flower... no, a Venus Flytrap. The two monkeys were shocked at first and jumped back - hey, careful with the foods! - before they looked at the opened trap plant.

"Uhhh... Is she telling us to put the foods here?" The first monkey asked.

"I... think so?" The second monkey gulped, while pouring HOT soups to my flytrap.

FUCKING IDIOT-

"WOAH!!!"

Immediately, the flytrap snapped at them, as I felt pain from the hot soup. How can they be so stupid?! Even though I'm a plant - no, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE I'm a plant, I'm extremely sensitive to heats! I understand that there's a thing called "Fire Resistant" but it doesn't mean that I have "Heat Resistant" dammit!

"The soup is too hot," I tried to calm myself down, not to scream at them, while still having that solemn voice to talk to them. Ugh, so hard.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry great tree!"

"I should've made them cooler first... here, try the rabbit meat! They should be cooled down already!" The first monkey took a piece of the Horned Rabbit meat, and placed it on the flytrap. Immediately he took back his hands right before the flytrap snapped to chew on the meat. "H-How was it...?"

...
...
...

Frankly speaking, I can sense that its very tender and soft but... I taste of nothing. Sigh. Of course, what am I thinking? This is a plant. Plants do not have taste buds. I don't even grow a tongue over there - how can I taste from that?

[ { Demigod of the Taste's Divine Blessing } Activated! ]

[ { Apply Tastebuds } Learned! ]

Oh wow.

I never thought that THAT'S an option.

Quickly, I applied tastebuds towards the flytrap... OH MY! Immediately, I tasted the slight saltiness and sweetness of the rabbit meat. This is how it taste like when it's naturally cooked?! Wow. Imagine if they actually know how to use spices to enhance the taste of it...

That's something that I can teach them, but later.

"Could you please dip the rabbit into the mushroom sauce?" I asked the two monkeys.

"S-Sure!" And they comply. Hmm, how nice~ And when the rabbit meat once again came back to my mouth- I mean, flytrap, it tasted even nicer!

"And this time, the pumpkin sauce!"

"Y-Yes!"

Ahhhh, this is good. This is good! I think I can even taste the soup from this!

"Ehem."

Oh, the naming ceremony is finally GOING to begin? The two monkeys stopped feeding me, and looked towards Wutian and Wuming who're standing near towards me.

"May I have your attentions, please!" Wutian raised his arms up, and all monkeys were quiet. "Our naming ceremony shall start shortly... and before that, I would like to say a few words..." He glanced through all the monkeys, before continuing his speech. "Whatever the outcome is from tonight, I hope that everyone will no longer have any sorts of disagreements and continue to function together as a tribe. No matter what happened, we're all still one big family - all 47 of us, a family! If the other 13 monkeys would join us, then our numbers will definitely grow! However, other than all of us here...

We have nobody else."

Wutian looked very serious, and so were the other monkeys. They understood that they were the few survivors ever since the, uh, my slaughter fest happened like hundreds of years ago. Those that COULD be out there were still unknown, and there's really very few possibility that there's still others out there.

"Remember, all 47 of us must be nice to each other. There can be quarrels, there can be arguments... but at the end, we're still a family. No matter what happened, we shall stand by for each other. No matter what happened, we shall defend each other. There is no such thing as you cannot do - in order to survive, you MUST do it no matter what happened!"

Most of the monkeys gripped their fist, and looked at each other. Some were grateful and some were having some troubles, but they all understand that meaning behind it. They MUST take care of each other.

"Alright. I have spoke enough... now let the naming ceremony... BEGIN!"

"WUOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

The monkeys rejoiced as the ceremony finally begun. Some went and lit some fires nearby - why? I have no idea. Probably it's the idea of "ritual"???

"Now... we shall start with our own chosen ones..." Wutian nodded towards Wuming, who smiled and walked front.

"First, let us welcome the Earth Ape that's always been following us through numerous expeditions... the one that has always been protecting us whenever the troubles come... Strong and steady, 'Big Guy'!" Wuming spoke, and clapped as she welcomed the bulky Earth Ape to the "stage". All the other monkeys clapped as well as the bulky one walked towards the "stage" with a slightly shy look.

"I told you he'll get chosen!"

"Well, honestly if he didn't get chosen I would've voted for him anyway..."

"Next," Wuming once again spoke, silencing the other monkeys. "I would like to invite the 'great mother' of our group... She has been doing all the knitting and cooking for all of you. Even the clothes that some of you wore today were being made from her delicate hands! Now, what do you all monkeys call her? Ms. Beautiful!" Wait, that's her legit nickname?!

And yes, all the guys whistled and cheered as she walked towards the stage with her extreme blossoms - while the girls rolled their eyes and judged the men. But... Holymomma. They really bounced! But it doesn't seemed that she cared a lot about her blossoms, but just keep on walking straight ahead towards the next of Big Guy.

"And now," Wutian once again take the stage back, while patting the two chosen monkeys to be named. "It's time for all of you to pick your own leader! While I cannot control how will all of you think about our choices," He spoke as he gestured towards Wuming and myself. "This is the time that you can finally speak who you would like to follow!"

"And please raise your hands when you want to nominate a monkey," Wuming immediately added, while Wutian gratefully smiled towards her.

No monkeys dared to raise their hands for a moment, as they were not used to these kind of situations... Still, it's interesting to see that they were actually discussing who they should nominate. The like-minded monkeys started to gather together and created a group. Some of the monkeys didn't care very much about it and just sit there eating their food.

The guys are having the most troubles over here, since they were going to nominate and vote for Ms. Beautiful anyway. Now, they do not have a candidate.

"Alright, it's settled!" One of the apes spoke, and raised his hand. Wuming nodded towards him and gestured for him to speak out. "I will nominate the Wind Ape, Ms. Tornado!"

"What?!"

"Are you serious?!"

"Well, she does seemed pretty, and pretty strong..."

"But her power control is beyond help!"

"Imagine if she got a name... she might destroy our home with one laughter!"

Those comments made the Wind Ape hung in shame, even though she was surprised and happy at first that someone would actually nominate her.

"Well, what about the Fire Ape, 'Fiery Temper' then?" One of the monkeys pointed towards the Fire Ape that has been following Wutian's gang frequently.

"Hmmm, I think he's not bad..."

"Are you sure? He's not smart enough to solve most problems!"

"Plus, he's brashful!"

"Even though he HAS a bad temper and always rushing into things, hey, he DOES have the courage to stand out for us first!"

"I don't mind working under such a brave monkey!"

The Fire Ape held his head up high as he was being nominated, while disregarding all the other insults towards his brash personality.

"I nominate this Dark Ape!" And then suddenly, one of the female monkeys exclaimed, pointing to the Dark Ape right beside her.

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

Most of his supporters were... females. Was it because of his looks and cool personality that gained attention from the females? I looked at him, but he seemed so nonchalant that he doesn't even care if he was to get named or not.

The other males, however...

"Are you insane?! He's one of the closest friend to that de-... that... that... Water Ape!" The monkey tried not to say anything bad about Lil' Blue.

"Yeah! He could be one of those that bears hatred to the leader! Do you wish to endanger your own leader?!"

"Who said so?! Mr. Black could be only exchanging intellects with him!" Mr. Black, hmm? That's the nickname all you fangirls have for him, eh?

"Yeah! You don't know him, don't you speak bad about Mr. Black!"

"Yeah! He's charming, and he's super duper cool! All of you are only jealous because you guys aren't as smart and as cool as he is!"

...oh dear. This really seemed to be very familiar... Like, all anime scenes have at least this cool and mysterious guy that got hated by the mass male populations and all his fangirls just backed him up saying things like...

Those.

Exactly the same.

Sigh.

"Alright, alright," Suddenly, an Earth Ape walked out - he's part of the Light Ape's gang. "I think I have a better candidate than that... Dark Ape," He eyed dirty at the Dark Ape, before smiling towards Wutian who raised an eyebrow. "I nominate the lil' Boss, Light Ape!"

"Ohhh! The previous chieftain's son!"

"Yeah, he's good, he's good!"

"I'd work under him!"

Both Wutian and Wuming didn't make any sorts of reaction towards that, but I can feel that Wuming's foot grip on my roots became stronger, and Wutian's tail seemed a bit uneasy.

"Alright, so we have four nominees... Let's have all of them on the stage!" Wuming nodded at each of them who're being nominated, and welcomed them to the stage. The Fire Ape walked up to the stage filled with confidence, while the Light Ape just smiled at everyone that supported him. On the other hand, the Wind Ape seemed to be out of space and hanging her head low, while the Dark Ape didn't seemed to care anything that's going on.

"So, we shall now vote... two monkeys to receive a name!" Wutian stood out, and declared towards the monkeys, who all cheered loudly.

"Before that..." I interrupted, holding up one of my branch. The monkeys went dead silence, as they wonder why the sudden. "I think we should give the candidates a chance to speak for themselves."

...
...
...

"E-Excuse me great tree Arcaxia but... I don't understand?" The Fire Ape questioned.

"Like I say, all of you shall be given a chance to prove your own worth, and self-appeal to the crowds," I smiled as I talked to him, while patting him with one of my vines. "Who knows? When you did that, maybe you can get more votes!"

"Ohhh!"

"That sounds like a fine idea?"

"We get to hear what they will offer to us when they got a name too!"

...oh my, this became something political. Ah well, that's bound to happen anyway.

"Alright, first, let's have the Fire Ape - Fiery Temper-" I'm not sure if I'll be so proud about such nickname as you do, mr. Fiery Temper... "-to give a speech!"

"WUOOOOOOOHHHH!!!"

Yeah, the monkeys cheered, and the Fire Ape walked to the front. Yeap. So, what's gonna happen now? It doesn't seemed that he prepared for this, so being the first one to the stage... how'll he perform?

"EVERYMONKEY. HOW ARE YOU?!?!?!?!"

"WUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"I DON'T HEAR YOU. LET ME HEAR YOUR SCREAMS LOUDERRRRRRRR!!!"

"WUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Oi. This is not a rock stage oi. Excuse me. This is a political stage, please don't make it as if it's a rock show or something. Then again, the monkeys seemed alright with it. Ahhhhhh... whatever. I'll just raise one of my vine as the crowd raised their hands... silently.

"SO I'M FIERY TEMPER, THE FIRE APE!!!" As I said, can you not be so proud about that nickname??? It sounded more like an insult... why do you even like it anyway? "So, if you vote me, I'll assure you that I will be the best fighter in this world!" With that, he showcased his fire skills - hey hey hey, don't burn my tips! Alright that sounds wrong. BUT DON'T BURN MY TIPS- "The top, the strongest monkey that nobody can defeat! That NONE of those stupid pigs could hurt us anymore! I will burn all those that threatens us into crisps!!!" He shot out flames as he kungfu his ways with his monkey fist style. He talked and attacked at the same time, before ending with a loud roar and a kick to the air. "WHO WANTS TO EAT ROASTED PIGS?!?!?!?"

"YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Roasted pigs are nice~" Wait. When the fuck you ate roasted pigs before- DID YOU REALLY-

And why the crowd's so happy about eating roasted pigs??? Nonono, we're not gonna do that- Hmm. I'll reeducate them later... but now let's just let them continue their speech.

"I will use all my strength to help everymonkeys out! Thank you for choosing me!" He stopped and fall back to his original place, then bowed to the crowds - wow, this monkey still know some courtesy!

"YEAHHHHHHHH!!!

"FIERY TEMPER!!!"

"FIERY TEMPERRRR!!!"

I'm not sure having a fiery tempered president is a good thing... well luckily there's Wutian above him. Meh.

"Next, we shall have the Wind Ape, ms. Tornado to give a speech," Wuming then announced, as the dejected puppy-looking Wind Ape meekly came to the front - all the monkeys... clapped. Well, they didn't react the same way as the Fire Ape, that's for sure.

"U-Uh, hello everymonkey... I'm Ms. Tornado, the Wind Ape..." Actually ms. Tornado is a very strong name... but with the meek look of hers, it's really hard to think that they're both the same person. "First of all, thank you for that person who nominated for me - I'm very happy to be nominated even though I'm not the... best monkey," Awww, I feel sad for her... And that monkey who nominated her felt sad too. That monkey must be in love with her or something btw - I mean, why else he has so much emotions towards her?

"I know that I couldn't control my powers very smoothly, but my heart that wished for the best of all monkeys here is true."

"I can vouch for that..." Even Fiery Temper nodded at that - does this considered as interrupting the speech?

"T-Thank you Fiery Temper, uh," The Wind Ape doesn't know what else to talk about - she wasn't even sure if she should showcase her power like how the Fire Ape did. Instead... "This enormous power is the only thing that stopped me from being a better person, but my mind and soul aren't! So if... If you will vote for me, I will swear on my heart - for the best of all monkeys here - that I will learn how to control my powers, and serve you all with the best of my heart!"

That actually got some supporters to root for her now, as you can hear whistles and louder applause this time, as soon as she bowed and backed off.

"Now, let us welcome the Light Ape, Lil' Boss, to come to the stage for a speech," Wuming called out the Light Ape. Even though she seemed to be alright with everything, her feet seemed to grip harder as she mentioned his nickname. The Light Ape walked up, and posed himself with confidence:

As if he's already prepared for this.

"Greetings, everymonkeys. I am what you referred to as "Lil Boss", the Light Ape. First, I would like to thank those that nominated me - without all of you, I couldn't even stand on this stage. Second, I would like to thank our leader, Wutian," He gestured towards the Sun Ape. "For bringing all of us into this very sanctuary. Without his guidance, I'm sure we will all just stuck being normal monkeys. His leadership made me think... such braveness, such wisdom... if he had chose to hunt like a normal monkey, if he had not take the risk to converse with Great Tree of Wisdom, Arcaxia," Damn, I got a new name! Such wisdom! Wow! "We wouldn't have the chance to be here today...

...and so, I aspired to do the same. Inheriting my father's hopes to bring the clan back to its previous glory," That caused Wutian to tap on his feet lightly. "I am deeply moved by how the leader worked. I wanted to be such a great leader one day as well," That caused Wuming to grab on my branch even more... it start to hurt a lil. "Do you feel, every single time when our elders told us about the ancient, glorious days when we monkeys tip the balance of the world? Crashed into heavens and wrecked the sea? We were so powerful back then! But now... we're just mere monkeys."

That caused some of the monkeys thought deeply about this, and really aspired to be as great as their ancestors once were.

"So, if you vote for me..." He started to showcase his own abilities with his lights - first creating orbs of lights, and circle them like an art. He managed to control the light orbs everywhere he wanted them to go, and they were able to be spread out as well. He requested for a few woods, and some monkeys threw them in the air - as if they have already prepared??? - and he used the lights to slash them into pieces. The woods were being slashed around and beaten around, but it has a great flow and it seemed like actual light works... like those LED lights in modern world. Odd, eh?

He ended the light works, leaving everyone in awe.. "I will work hard. Not only to hone my skills, but to teach you monkeys skills as well!" He pointed at the crowds, who're surprised that he would teach them these fabulous skills and tactful control of his power - they start to wonder if they CAN do the same thing as he did. "And... not only bring peace to us monkeys, but also glory to all us monkeys!" Now, the monkeys gasped. Glory, he said?! That's the look on their faces. "Perhaps we need the golds too, but there's no need for such greed. However, if we could spread the greatness of the great tree of wisdom, Arcaxia-" What? What greatness- Wait. Spread??? What am I, your god or something- "-a symbol of the evolution of us monkeys, and our god-" Dafaq. When did I became the start of a cult- "-we can gain more respects! More people to work along with us!"

That actually caused Wutian and Wuming to think a little - hey, don't tell me that they THOUGHT of using ME as part of their plans in conquering the world or something??? It's not a fucking good idea, alright???

Apparently, all the monkeys were hooked. They literally saw me as their god(dess) and their eyes were filled with stars. What, only I'm the sane one who thought that it's a bad idea-?

"GREAT TREE OF WISDOM - ARCAXIA!"

"PRAISE THE GREAT TREE OF WISDOM - ARCAXIA!!!"

"ARCAXIA!!!"

"GREAT TREE ARCAXIA!!!"

"ARCAXIA OF THE WISE!!!" Wat.

The Light Ape smiled at what happened in front of him, and roared along with them. "So everymonkey, are we on an agreement?!"

"YES!!!"

"GREAT TREE ARCAXIA!!!"

Wait. Did he just used ME as a political item? Ohhhhhhhhhno.

No.

This monkey.

How dare-

"Perhaps letting Lil' Boss to join wasn't a bad idea..." Wuming nodded - what, aren't you supposed to object to this?!

"Yes... With the Great Tree Arcaxia's name to be spread out, perhaps... more monkeys will join us in the future. Or, maybe more similar tribes that wished to work in harmony with us might join as well?" WUTIAN. NOT YOU TOO.

Fine fine. I'll let you guys off for once...

ONCE ONLY. ALRIGHT?!

"Lastly," Wuming stood out to the crowds again, as the Light Ape backed off with a bow and thank you. She gestured towards the last monkey that's being nominated. "The Dark Ape - Mr. Black!"

"KYAAAAAAA~~~"

"MR. BLAAAAAAAAACK~~~"

"OH MY MONKEY MOMMA~~~" Wait. Does that means that you're calling Ms. Beautiful??? I mean, she's technically the mother in the tribe-

Anyhow, the last ape... went up to the front with a face that says that "I don't care about all these shits".

"Please don't vote for me. I don't want to be part of this."

That's... what he actually said, and just walked back. The girls... they were all frozen in place for like 5 seconds, before...

"OMGGGGGG DID YOU SEE THAT?!?!?!?"

"HE'S SO DAMN COOOOOOOOOOOOL~~~"

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~"

...they screamed back with even louder enthusiasms. What the heck.

"Silence, silence!!!" Even Wutian can't take it any more, and shouted to halt the excitement of the crowds. "Now, all the self-appeals have been done... let's move to the voting stage, shall we?"

"There are leaves over here. Please write down who you wanted to vote for and put them into this box," Wuming spoke, holding out a wooden box.

The monkeys DID discussed for some while, but quite a lot of them already knew who to pick. They scribbled on the leaf, and put them into the box.

Did they write names? Of course NOT.

They fucking DUNNO HOW TO WRITE.

So what did they do? They actually DREW the monkeys out! Or rather, some that're bad with actual drawing just drew a "sun" for the Light Ape, a "fire" for the Fire Ape, a "Wind-blowing" for the Wind Ape, and a "black ball" for the Dark Ape.

So yeah, the votes were counted... and yeah, it's expected.

"The ones that will be named, is the Light Ape and the Fire Ape!"

"YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~" Some of the girls cried.

"WOOHOOOO!!! THANKS MONKS!!!!!!!" The Fire Ape screamed.

"Thank you for your support!" The Light Ape merely smiled at them.

The Wind Ape kind of knew that this was going to happen, so she only clapped for them - not really concerned about the votes. The Dark Ape... yeap. Still the same face.

Yeap. Almost 20-something voted for the Light Ape - which is more than half of the population of the current tribe. Then, 10-something voted for the Fire Ape. There's only one vote for the Wind Ape, and the rest went for the Dark Ape. The Dark Ape actually came a bit close to the Fire Ape, but because there's only so much things that ladies could do, most of the other votes went for the Fire Apes instead.

"Alright, let the naming ceremony began!" Wutian announced, and brought the 4 monkeys that will be named to me. Yeap, now they're literally facing me.

"Mmm... Earth Ape, Wood Ape, Fire Ape, and Light Ape..." I addressed each of them, while using my vine to pat on each of their heads. "I have long thought for the Earth Ape and the Wood Ape, as we discussed about their nominations... so I will name you two first."

The two monkeys that I addressed stepped forward, and knelt to receive a name from me.

"For the Earth Ape, as the first Earth Ape that I will be naming, you will receive the name of Sun Wudi," I announced with a majestic voice. "You shall understand the definition of earth, and how to use the earth to its fullness. You shall understand the importance of the earth, and how to care for it for the future. Use your power wisely, and use it to benefit the rest of the population."

My sound rang throughout the cave again, and I'm prompted with a similar question.

[ Do you wished to name this Earth Ape { Sun Wudi } ? ]
[ Yes / No ]

Yeap. I've thought of this thoroughly. No problemo!

Then, a flux of energy was extracted from me - ah, such a familiar feeling - and entered the body of the bulky Earth Ape. Suddenly, it felt like the entire place was shaking - as rocks, stones, and muds all came to his body... covering it like a cocoon.

"W-What's happening-"

"Did anything went wrong...?"

Nah. It's fine. It's just... his new power. Why do I know? Ah, I've seen this third time already. Another great display of strength. Even Wutian couldn't handle this pawah - HAHA. That face. Best.

Then, with a burst of energy, the cocoon exploded - or rather, a gorilla was BORN!

"I... have ranked up...!" The gorilla was extremely happy and shocked at the same time. "I am now a Great Earth Gorilla...!" He roared, and beat his chest for a several time - it was loud, and it shook the earth once again.

"C-Calm down Mighty- I mean, Wudi," Wutian quickly jumped to his side, and patted him on the back.

"O-Oh! I'm so sorry. I'm too happy about this transformation..." He smiled widely. He seemed like a macho, bara dude but he smiled so earnestly that it looked cute somehow. He's such a nice guy. Hopefully he got a good waifu, or something. Then, he bowed, and backed off.

"Mmm." Then, my attention went towards the Wood Ape. "You, Wood Ape, I shall bestow the name Sun Wuhui to you. This is so that you shall understand the true meaning of care, and never stray away from your kindness - yet, you will know how to let each of them grow into a better monkey without spoiling them. Understand this power of 'care', and use it wisely."

[ Do you wished to name this Wood Ape { Sun Wuhui } ? ]
[ Yes / No ]

Yeappity yeap!

And so, another flux of energy gone! Yay! And then, branches sprouted out from the ground and surrounded her like a cocoon - again - and TADAAA! She gracefully cast away the woods away, and emerged as a beautiful lady... ape.

"T-T-Thank you, great tree Arcaxia... I have... ranked up, into a Ceres Ape..." She wanted to maintain her graceful image, but it's pretty hard as she looked at herself with shock and curiosity. Now, she don't even need clothes on her - she has natural clothing from the leaves... but it's still not very wise to leave her like this. She still need MORE clothes.

Cuz they just became bouncier without stopping.

Them dudes just watch with bloody noses, I know.

Cuz if I'mma monkey like them, I'mma be watching at those the same fucking way. Mm-mmm~ <3

Though, Ceres Ape. Why Ceres? I thought it supposed to be more elemental like, like Sun, Moon, Earth- wait. Ceres. It's a star! OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

"Interesting..." I mumbled, but they heard me lel. "Apparently most of you will rank up into astrological-associated version of yourselves. I look forward for the next monkey's rank up."

With that, all of the monkeys seemed to be even eager for the remaining two's rank ups.

"Fire Ape, Light Ape," I mentioned the two of them, as they walked forth. The two named monkeys stepped back and joined Wutian and Wuming on the side. "I will... start with the Fire Ape first. Let's see..."

Fire. Fire's dangerous. But fire's also important - like the earth, like the sun. Without the fire, we will be dead from coldness, and we will not have cooked food! Also, without fire, we will not be able to see in the darkness. Hmmmmmm... What's the most fitting name for a fire... Fire is like... life? Fire is needed for living?

OH.

"I shall bestow you the name... Sun Wusheng," My voice - once again majestic and grand... damn, I love my voice during these times! I betcha I charmed a few monkeys with my voice - AHA! Too bad I can't have fun with them... cuz of my image. Tsk. "For I hope that you shall understand the greatness of fire. Fire can be destructive, but it can also be life-giving. Use the fire to give birth to new civilization, use the fire to heat up the coldness of people... use the fire when you need it the most. However, do not use the fire recklessly - as fire could destroy people easier than it gives life. Understand that, and use fire wisely..."

[ Do you wished to name this Fire Ape { Sun Wusheng } ? ]
[ Yes / No ]

Yeap! I feel so proud at my naming skill! WOOHOO!

And so, another energy BYEBYE~ It's as if I give a part of my soul to them, and they became part of mine... It's like I entered their bodies or something- Wait. WAIT. I. Entered. Their. Bodies. Get it? Kehehehehheheh-

Ah crap. Not time for that.

Anyway, the Fire Ape's transformation is another ball of fire - which this time, Wuming's ready to shield everyone off from it's extreme flames, with her own barrier of ice. It was melting from the inside, but she constantly enhanced it with her ice power again and again. Thanks for your hardworks, Wuming. I love you, everymonkey loves you, and Wutian loves you even more. I'll tell him to treat you extra right tonight.

So as the fire subsided, a red-hot-chilli-gorilla - slimmer version - appeared from within the encased tomb of ice... as his body was red hot and seemed to be burning wherever he goes. However, it seemed that he controlled the temperature of his legs well, as nothing hurt me. Good Wusheng, good gorri. I love you too now.

"I... ranked up too...!" The gorri gripped tight on his fist, as flames sprout from his head, like a very tall mohawk... ya know, those "scissors hairs" that you saw in the old Gatsby ads? Yeap. Like that. But with fire. "I HAVE RANKED UP!!!!!!" He beat his chest and roared, and now those hairs went UP - SO CLOSE TO MY OWN HAIR- I mean leaves - and stopped right before it burnt any of me. Thank god I won't be bald! Like, I don't sacrifice my leaf-hairs for YOUR fabulous fire-Gatsby-scissors-hair, alright Wusheng?

"Congratulations to all of you," The Light Ape clapped, and so had the other monkeys that followed suit. "What have you ranked up to, Wusheng?"

"I... I'm a Mars Gorilla!" He exclaimed, and still trying his best not to get his excitement too over that he will burn me off. "Oh god. I'm a Mars Gorilla... A Mars Gorilla!!!" He roared and beat his chest once again, before Wudi couldn't hold it any longer and took him by the shoulder - calming him down, and taking him to the side as well.

Now, all the limelights on the Light Ape.

"As for you, Light Ape," Honestly, I kind of knew that he'll be picked, so I have already thought of a name for him. But today, after hearing his speech... I have a better idea. "I will name you Sun Wuzhu, the one who bears the name of 'ancestry'. You said that you shall bring the people back the old glories of the ancient ones, and I bestow you this name for wishing you that you will reach your goal one day. Do not forget about your ancestors, and bring back the lost glories of the monkeys. Realize the wisdom of the old ones as well, and teach the next generation with wisdom."

"I will, and thank you great tree Arcaxia."

[ Do you wished to name this Light Ape { Sun Wuzhu } ? ]
[ Yes / No ]

Yes.

And so, the last flux of energy to be robbed- I mean, given tonight. Entering (heheh) the monkey, he began to gather lightnings and lights at the same time, creating an odd-looking cocoon that's of spikes. Then, with an explosion, an ape came out - with a similar crown on the head like Wutian's, he stood majestically.

"I... have ranked up..." So even he could be surprised? "I am now... An Uranus Ape!!!"

"WUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"PRAISE THE GREAT TREE ARCAXIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

"PRAISE ARCAXIA THE WISEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

"PRAISE WUTIAN!!!!!!!!"

"PRAISE THE LEADERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And that's the thing that I heard, before my world went black.

D-Chronicle: 00 - Prologue

Ya know.

I really could call myself the "luckiest being" in life, because I got everything a normal person wanted.

A nice family, a nice body, a nice personality, a nice circle of friends, and nice opportunities.

I never really got into huge troubles because of my luck as well, and... practically, everyone loves me.

But all of these could happen is not really because I'm definitely lucky, it's because... well, I'm...

Cursed.

Why do I say that?

I'm a genius. Or at least, that's how I believed. Otherwise, why would I have known all the things that’re written in the textbooks as if I went through several lifetimes studying all of these boring materials? Why would I understood any sorts of theoretical hypothesis so quickly as if I have done millions of experiments on these hypothesis in the past? Or I would just understand how things will work with one glance on the written guidance, or before the teacher even finished his/her steps? I just… understood everything, as if I have literally spent several life and death situation trying to understand all of these?

If I’m not a genius, then I should be branded as a freak.

Sometimes, I just saw… visions. Visions of myself going through pain, challenges, happiness… all of these shouldn’t have happened because I was only born for like 13 years, instead of 100 years or so. Having a large army of soldiers waiting for my orders? Killing gigantic monsters? Building humongous robots? They just won’t make sense. It’s like a dream, an imagination, or a delusion… so yeah. I should be dreaming all of these – daydreaming, if I must – and they’re just random fragments of my uncontrollable, overflowing imaginations.

I would go crazy if I actually went through these situations myself.

So it’s either I’m a genius with uncontrollable, overflowing imaginations… or I’m a freak that has lived through countless lives – which doesn’t really make sense because if I am really one of that, I would’ve gain a better body than this… flimsy… fragile looking small girl, right? Ok, I just finished my primary school, but why a girl, nevertheless? I would’ve chose a body of a man, with a large frame, indestructible… actually I would understand why if I were to choose such a fragile looking girl since large men DO have some sort of weaknesses too and people will fear you or be conscious of you easier… plus, being a girl DOES has it’s props as well.

Hmmm. Why do I seemed like I know everything in this world? See, this is why I mean by I'm either a freak, a genius, or a freaking reincarnation of a lot of idiotically superb heroes that went through millions of life and death and I just inherited all of their memories.

...

NAH~

That's too ridiculous.

Then again, from these... experiences (dreams), I realized that showing off my talents won't be a wise thing to do - why should I attract unwanted attentions, right? So yeah. I just... play games! Like, playing games and winning games won't get your weird attentions - nobody would worry too much if there's a very good game otaku, right? Plus, playing games are very interesting. Like, yeah, you could either blaze through everything with your skills, or try to do things as mundane as possible to win the game. There're so many ways to win one game, and I can just use all my time to try every single thing possible.

But, hmmm... Gaming... is boring sometimes. Like, after 100th time of replaying the initially interesting game, I feel like... there's nothing left for me to do. There's no excitement anymore.

Ahhh... how much I wished for excitement right now... like, they could just drag me into another world and make good use of these memories for real, y'know?

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 09: Sacerd Tree

"Arcaxia!"

In the early morning, I heard callings from my dear friend, Wutian... and his gang.

"Hmm~" I tried to put on my usual facade, but with a singing voice as I noted something interesting that they got back from their latest adventure.

"I got a lot of stuffs back! Look!" He gestured the monkeys behind him, as they showed me their exploits one by one. There are 5 monkeys that followed him out - Wuming, the New Moon Ape, a Thunder Ape, a Wind Ape, an Earth Ape, and a Fire Ape. "Look at these! We've got plenty of foods, metals, and these shiny stuffs!"

"Hmm?" Well, I can see those for sure - some of them seemed pretty high classed... where did they get it from? "Please don't tell me that you stole from other people-"

"No! Of course not! I have not forgot our pact. Besides, that's beyond my personal policy. After that very day, I swear that I will not steal..." Good, good. "Rather, I would have rob them straight-up front!" ...wait what?

"H...hehe..." Wuming? Why did you laugh? And what's up with the rest of you trying to hold yourself up?

"Seriously Arcaxia, you should see your face right now..." Even Wutian's trying hard not to laugh. What, was my face THAT horrible??? "Alright, alright... I'm just joking. But hey, you didn't say that I couldn't have a lil' revenge from those that hurt us before, right?"

"...mmm."

"So... yeah! That's what I did!" Uhuh. And...? Who are they? "Remember those orcs I told you? Yeah! We crossed roads again, and we managed to beat them up!" Oh wow. That's great. "Yeah, great, right?" Wow, now it's as if he can read my mind?

"I... I can't hold this much too long-" A Wind Ape behind them just burst into a huge laughter. A few others couldn't take it and did the same too. What? Why? What happened??? What's so funny?

"Oh great tree Arcaxia," Even Wuming giggled!!! "Your unending-changing face... humored us. Oh, I pardon for our insolence."

...oh.

That's what's funny.

Tsk.

...

Wait.

WIND APE.

DO NOT LAUGH.

REMEMBER THE LAST TIME YOU LAUGHED?!

"Oh no-" Wutian realized what's going on as the laughters wouldn't stop. A large gust of wind gathered and they were started to form a tornado. Some of them realized it and already stopped their laughter, while they all tried to go near towards the Wind Ape.

"Stop Windy!"

"You have to stop!"

"Don't rip off Great Tree Arcaxia!!!"

"AHAHA- ha... ah."

Oh thank god she stopped. And her face went blue - not as blue as Lil' Blue, but blue enough to show that she's afraid of her powers once again.

"I'm so so so sorry Dear Great Tree Arcaxia! Oh god, I really wished I didn't have so much power..." She apologized again and again, but I really don't blame her. It's not her fault that she suddenly gained so much power.

It's probably my fault, since I'm the one producing those fruits.

"It's alright, oh Windy one," I raised my vine and patted on her head - oh dear lord, she looked like a lost puppy. Sho cute. <3 "It's not your fault, but you have to try your best to control yourself."

"I-I will Great Tree Arcaxia..." And then when she hung herself low, it's even CUTER. It makes me wanna tease her, but no, no, I'm in front of everyone important and this is really not the time to be a pervert-

"Cough, anyway," Wutian stepped in and patted on the Wind Ape's back. "Shall I continue my story?"

So apparently Wutian saw these bunch of Orcs wandering around the forest, and they decided to do some lil' pranks onto them as their revenge... so they threw muds and shits at them, blahblahblah, enraged them... and so they fall into their large net trap.

"And you know what? I lit up a fire underneath them, and say that I'd ROAST THEM UP!" Every monkey in this area snickered and/or laughed at that - though the Wind Ape tried her best not to react towards that. "Then they started to cry and beg us for forgiveness and whatsoevernot... TA-DAAA!" Wutian gestured to those goodies behind him. "They gave us all of these as some sort of compensation!"

"Hmmmmm..." Now I'm curious what kind of items that they receive. I extended my vines and touched the items one by one...

[ Do you wish to analyze the item? ]
[ Yes / No. ]

Yes please.

Now, I knew of this skill since they started to take items for me to check - if they're poisonous or not. Since my roots are skillful enough to detect whether it's dangerous or not, I helped them to inspect all the foods that they got from the outside before they eat... and then suddenly I was blessed with "God of Inspection" and gained the skill "Identify Object".

Anyway, I started from the foods that they gave to the monkey. Well, they were all... edible. Albeit they were mostly second-class food. Meh. Whatever. We can try to make them as delicious as possible... with the help of my fruits, of course!

That was expected. But what they received the most... are unexpected.

"Yeah, they said that these were 'useless rocks' and 'if you like them so much and it would appease you, please take them as many as you want' since it'll help them to clear up some spaces," Wutian pointed towards those "useless rocks" that they carried in bags after bags. "I heard that they were going to sell it off to some human merchants, but it probably won't give them a lot compare to the other exploits that they got from the Goblins."

Are... Are you serious...?! Are they mad?! No. These are those "pigs" that we're talking about. Probably they're stupid. Oh. Wait. So THAT'S why I did something so stupid back then! I'm an orc, therefore, I became stupid!!! Fuck these shits. I'm gonna wreck these pigs and teach them a lesson.

ONE DAY.

I mean, how could they just gave these precious ores and jewels away!

I mean, yes, they ARE rough, and you probably can't do much with these quality of ores... but hey! You could have fetch a high price with these! If we managed to set up an ore-refinery... we could have make a HUGE BUCK out of them!

Now, in this world, jewels are very important. You can enhance equipments with them, and you can make accessories out of them, while they will give you various buffs and protections! Tigers-Eye will give you luck and protection; Agate mostly eases your mind and boost your confidence, hence giving you "courage" and lessens the chances of being affected by mental hexes; Emerald increases your intuition; Ruby improves your vitality... well, put it into game words, it increases your HP. Anyway, all sorts of crystals will give you a buff of some sort, so there WILL be people that will buy them.

And now they just gave everything to the monkeys.

"Sigh... Wutian, come," Even though I'm a tree right now, I can feel that their stupidity made my "head" ache. "If you could... go and find the Goblins that they attacked, and negotiate with them. Give them protection, as they provide you with these ores," I whispered towards Wutian as he reached my side. "Trust me - they will be valuable allies. Also, check what kind of skills they have. If it's possible, ask them to teach the monkeys a few things. I'm very sure they know what they're doing with these ores."

"Alright," Wutian's eyes suddenly changed as he received "orders" from me... well, technically they're not orders. They were "advices". However, Wutian deemed them as "orders" as he still somehow view me as his master or something.

Sigh.

I really hope not.

"Also," Even so, I continued. "If you could, try to suit up the monkeys. With you threatening the Orcs, and if they're stupid enough, they will come and fight back once they regained their courage. And when that happened... I hope we're all prepared to fight back."

"I understand."

"Hmm," I reverted back to my usual self as Wutian backed off from me - being how he usually was in front of the others once again. My vines inspected the other stuffs, while I realized that they actually got other exploits not only from the orcs.

Horned Rabbits.

Huh, neat.

"Do not throw away the horns. They can be made into great spears, or daggers," I told them in my solemn voice, where they looked at me filled with astonishment. "Moreover, the furs of the rabbits can be made into clothes - to shield you better from harsh environments."

"I never thought of that!"

"That's brilliant!"

"Let's hunt more of them down!"

"But," I continued, realizing that they could be walking the first path that I dreaded. "You should not overhunt it. Do it in moderation, and only kill them when you really need to. If they attacked you, you may choose to attack them back. But if nothing else matters, our garden should provide enough food for everyone. Until the need arises, I shall not permit the open-hunting of any monsters around our vicinity."

"Why was that, oh great tree?" Wuming asked, her head cocked to aside. The rest of the monkeys have similar questions on their faces.

"..." Hmmm. How should I explain this in the way that they understand? "What do you need for the garden to thrive?"

"Uh... waters?"

"Nutriotional muds?"

"What do you need to survive then?" I continued asking then.

"Food? Water?"

"Do you need to eat the rabbit to survive? Do you not have enough food?"

"Uh... not really..."

"But what about the other monsters?" I looked at them with a serious face. "What do they need to eat to survive?"

The monkeys looked at each other, and pondered about my question. Even though in this valley, there are not much other monsters around... but there are a lot of stronger monsters out there - like Red Bears and Ogres. Horned Rabbits were locals around that area, while Orcs were closer to our cavern. The Red Bears certainly won't get enough food from that area as they have to fight with the Ogres.

"Imagine, the Red Bears already have to fight against the Ogres for food and territory... what happened if we step into that boundary?" I asked the monkeys, raising the dead Horned Rabbit up to the air for them to look at. "Once they couldn't find enough food from that area, they will eventually spread out to hunt from other places... Do you want to see a Red Bear suddenly appear around our area?"

"N-No..."

Yes. A Red Bear is a fearsome monster. In the past, one swipe from that bear would be the dead of several monkeys. Even after they managed to rank up, they do not dare to act foolishly against such monstrosity.

"Perhaps... Perhaps we can fight back if there's only Red Bears... but what if they came together with the Ogres?" I continued. "Probably not both at a time, but continuous attacks. After bears, the ogres come. Do you think you can fend them off successfully?"

They all hung their heads low, knowing that they couldn't win. Well, it's not like they really can't... as long as you have the wits for it. Plus, all these gems, and some help from possible allies... But eh, I don't want to tell them that. Save that for the future.

"So, if you overhunt the Horned Rabbits, once they became extinct, there will be a lot of occurrence that can happen. This is just part of it. Who knows what will happen next? A bunch of humans came to investigate what happened to this mountain, and happened to find us? A lot of things can happen if you do something overboard."

"W-We understand dear great tree Arcaxia..." Wuming bowed down. "I, we, apologize for our ignorance."

"Hmm. It's not your fault that you do not think of these. After all," I smiled and patted all their heads with my vines. "All of you are still young."

And then this is where Wutian shot me a weird look. I was the one that has just "born" here... how could I be so wise? Well, my SPIRIT is old. That's why!

"Alright, if there's nothing else, go and work on your ceremony," I gave them one last wink before sending them off - wait, am I breaking my own facade here? Am I too neat with them?

Eh. Nobody seemed to care. They're all still pondering about my words more than my actions. Oh well. I guess it's fine then.

= = = = = = = = = =

So, let's talk about the settlement right now.

Currently, there are... 47 monkeys. 2 named and ranked-up monkeys while the rest of them are all elemental monkeys. With such a few people, there's really not much things you can set up in this place. Sure, there are little camps and beds here and there... and honestly they didn't really need to build anything to stay in. Trees were their natural habitat, and their home. They could have slept on those trees.

How do they, after evolving, still be able to sleep on those trees?

Simple, I enlarged the trees!

Other than that, it seemed that they loved the vine beds a lot. I'm glad that they love my creations and put them into good use. But other than that creation that seemed odd in this garden? Nothing else.

This garden really seemed to be as natural as it gets.

Trees, flowers, bushes, grasses... there's nothing out of the natural. Save for a few... defensive plants, I guess that's pretty much what's around the garden.

Sigh. This is far from being a functioning settlement. Not even I can do much about this. Even though they're monsters, I kind of expected them to be more civilized like building houses but... you know what they say?

"Why do we need that?"

"Yeah, the cave shelters us from rains and we can sleep well on trees."

Sigh. But what they do NOT understand was that without building huts and stuffs they cannot do more stuffs other than merely "surviving".

Oh well, not that 47 apes can do anything to change this anyway. Last time I'm in a small, functioning settlement we had like hundreds of creatures among us. But hey, at least they're able to get a mini-farm growing! Even though half of that were my efforts... sigh.

I really wonder if I did a lil' bit too many for them.

"So, what do you think of that Earth Ape?"

"The one that follows the leader around?"

"Yeah! That bulky one!"

Hmm? They were talking about the apes? I know that Earth Ape, of course, he's one of Wutian's usual party when they go out for exploration. He's... extremely bulky, if you compare him to the rest of the apes. It's weird that even though there were quite a lot of Earth Apes, and they were ALREADY bulkier than the other apes, this one's EXTREMELY bulky.

As if he's on steroids or something.

"I think he's going to be the next named monkey."

"Well, that's not surprising, seeing that he's always the one that's helping out the leader."

"But what about the Fire Ape that's been following the lord too?"

Yeah, there are a few elemental apes that followed Wutian around. One of them is a Fire Ape, who's shorter than Wutian and extremely hotblooded. He's always the one charging into fights and speaks the most. But when it comes to thinking, he's zero in that area.

"Nah. He's too rowdy and too stupid! He's not suitable to be named!"

"But... he's always the first one to defend us, remember?"

Right. Even though he's the rowdiest, he's the one that always jumps out when there are troubles and tries to help out, regardless what's the result after that... But hey, at least he's brave enough and there's nobody that can make him stop!

"Still, he's more stupid... we need smarter apes... like that Dark Ape?"

"Oh nooooo nonono. Look at him! Everything of him screams evil and dark!" Excuse, black and purple don't necessary mean evil and dark. I can assure you that there's one yellow and white over here is truly evil and dark. "He used to be good friends with leader's... deranged brother. Who knows if they're together?!"

Oho. If they're really together, I will have a good BL to watch here. Mmmmhmmmm~ But no, I can assure you that they're, unfortunately, NOT together.

"Hmmm... then what about that Wind Ape though? She's smart enough?"

"Her!? That crazy monkey!? She's strong and fast, I admit, and not so stupid... but she's damn scary... especially her laughters. Have you seen how crazy those wind blows when she laughed!?"

Yeah. I saw that. She almost ripped me off this morning as she laughed right in front of me. How can I forget that? Of course, I'm trying not to forget that puppy eyes she shot at me when she seemed all so apologetic uhuehuhuehuehue-

Cough.

Anyway, that Wind Ape... has serious power-control issues. Her wind power is over the rank and she could easily gather up a mini tornado if she wants to. But before she choose what she wants, she couldn't control that wind power of hers and kept on destroying numerous plants of mine for several times.

Because she couldn't stand her laughter.

That's the sole reason.

Though I can't get mad at her because some of those jokes were really laugh-worthy. The trees? Worth it. Plus, she seemed extremely apologetic about it and tried very hard to control it. It's so sad to see her trying her best not to overreact at numerous situations anymore - I mean, I like that laughter.

Just not that power.

It almost blow me away.

Literally.

"Yeah... she could get a bit scary- OH! I know!"

"Hmmm?"

"Y'know, the Light Ape? Our previous chieftain's son?"

"Ah! Him! He's good!"

"Yeah, he's good with all sorts of chores and he's good with all monkeys. Look!" The monkey pointed towards that Light Ape, and his little gang. "He already got himself a little team. I bet the previous chieftain's proud of him, even though he's not the current chieftain."

"It's too bad that the previous chieftain chose our current one over him..."

"Well," Suddenly, they got quieter. The conversation turns into a whisper. "I heard that the previous chieftain didn't want the current chieftain to take over him. They said that he forced him."

"What?!"

"I'm serious! They threatened the previous chieftain with young Light Ape's life!"

"T-That's... cruel!"

"I know... but what can we do?"

"Should we nominate the Light Ape and give him the title that he should get back?"

"Are you mad...?!" The monkey immediately covered the other monkey's mouth, looking everywhere to see if anyone else heard that... well, if there's nobody else, I HEARD YA! "We have what we have right now are all due to the leader's guidance! Without him, there's no us! I'm very sure that's the reason why the Light Ape followed him to this cave! His other brothers hated Lord Wutian, but he followed willingly!"

"Uh... O-Okay..."

"Alright, alright," The third ape tried to cool down the situation, and tried to switch the topic. "Then what about..." The monkey then looked over towards his back, and had a goofy smile on his face. "...ms. Beautiful over there?"

Oh yes, they are looking at a female monkey indeed. Now, unlike other monkeys where they have MINIMAL clothes on themselves, this female monkey has the MOST clothes on. Because 1: I said so; and 2: Her body shape is a lil' bit too good. Although all Wood Apes do have great body shapes and most human-like appearance - yes, even male Wood Monkeys - this one is the top of them. It's like the buffed out Earth Ape who has extreme muscles, this one has extreme...

Blossoms.

For my language, it means: Good top and good bottom.

Of course, I have the luxury to look at them whenever she's taking a bath and whatsoever not. With her being the "motherly-like" figure within the cavern I.E. taking care of all monkeys' welfare, I'm pretty sure she gained a large fanbase amongst the monkeys.

"If there's a monkey that should be named... it should be her."

"Yyyyeah... As a Wood Monkey, she already looked so pretty... imagine if she got a name!"

"Lady Wuming is beautiful, but clearly she's not big enough! I really hoped that ms. Beautiful could get a name and be more, SLURP, beautiful!!!"

A bunch of perverts.

Me included, of course.

Then again, I'm not a big fan of extreme blossoms. In fact, I deem them a bit too much and too... oily, in my opinion. Body shape like Wuming's is enough, and I'm very sure there's more than 1 monkey that agrees with me.

"Who's not big enough?"

"WOAH!!! LADY WUMING!!!"

Uh-oh. She heard them, and she's... smiling. Oh dear, this can't go well.

"I think we have some rocks that needs to be carried over. Would you help us out?"

"S-Sure!"

"Oh, and you, could you gather up the vegetables and fruits? I need them properly organized."

"Y-Yes madam!"

"And... Hmmm," She looked towards me, and pondered for a while. W-What, I'm very sure I think of good words for you, m'lady! Please don't cut me down! "I guess one of you should clean up Lord Arcaxia," Oh wow, now I'm the lord. "Also, please make her beautiful by decorating her with these gems."

?!

WHAT?!

DECORATION!?!?!?!?

ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

"Ehem," I made a sound. A loud one.

"Oh. It seemed that the great tree is dissatisfied," Of COURSE I am! I protest! I'm naturally beautiful enough as I am, and there's no need to treat me like a Christmas tree! I'm sacred, and sacred doesn't mean an entertainment! Or an ornament!!! "Maybe we need more gems to decorate her with... Of course, how foolish of me. I should gather more gems for such a blessed tree like Lord Arcaxia!

Right?"

Don't... you... smile at me that way...

Sun Wuming...!!!!!!

"Hmmm."

Alright.

It's official.

I'm not a sacred tree.

I'm a scared tree.

Sigh.

Nameless Love Story ~ 03

[ "Mugendai no yume no ato no~ Nani mo nai you no naka ja~" ]

What do you think of the "underground"? Was it dark? Was it hot? Was it like hell? Well, in here, definitely it's hot like hell because...

The large mass of people gathered in this little space.

They do not have a large stage, so they allocated themselves in a small room with enough space to play as a band. Most of the audiences have predicted that it'll be hot, therefore nobody really wore too much in this place.

And so was the people on stage - dressing casually and sweating... but their faces were all happy. Everyone in this room was passionate for the music, enough for them to endure the heat and the suffocating space.

All their eyes focused on the center.

"THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR COMING TO OUR SHOW!!!"

"UWOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!"

The one with the blonde hair screamed into the mic, swiping away her trademark pink bangs to the side as she looked towards her enthusiastic crowds. Her grin was wide as she felt everyone's energy flowing in this room, as they came for her and her band...

"Once again, to those who just came in here... WE ARE NAMELESS DEAD MONSTER! And we're here to ROCK-YOUR-WORLDDDDDDD!!!"

"WUOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

The guitar stormed in as the drums blasted away; fingers danced through the keyboards and another heated music exploded through the room.

This is Nameless Dead Monster, and with them... their passion of music.

Everyone down the stage rocked and jumped with them, screaming out as they enjoyed their heated music. Some sang with them, and some screamed for them. There were all sorts of passions going on down the stage, but they were all moving according to the music that they listened to.

Then there's a certain black haired who seemed out of space.

She didn't join the rest of the crowd in their crazy antics - rather, she stood on the side and looked towards the stage. Her eyes darted through the instruments, while her ears trying to filter out the noises from the audiences as she tried  hard to focus only on the music itself.

"YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

But as the singer reached the climax of the song, she couldn't help but smile at it.

"I told you you'll be alright," She mumbled softly to herself. No one else could hear her in this room filled with loud music. She stayed until the music ended, and the band finished up their numbers.

Even though she hated how packed this place was.

= = = = = = = = = =

"Thank you for coming!"

"Thanks for the help."

"Thanks for your support!"

The show ended, and most of the people already left, save for a few friends and supporters where they helped out with the cleaning up. The blonde let out a large sigh of relieve, and dropped to her knees as she finished packing up her own things. Her red eyes glanced through the room, and she found who she wanted to see.

"TSU-CHAN~"

She screamed and leaped down from the stage, rushing over to her best friend and housemate. She immediately gave her a hug, and squeezed her tightly. "You came!"

"Yeah..." The black haired one smiled with tireness, while patting on the blonde's back. "I can't believe you're filled with energy after those numbers of songs you did..."

"Well... to be honest, I don't," They parted soon enough, and Rika just laughed dryly. "I lost my breath in the, uh, 5th song."

"I noticed that, your pitches were off," Tsubomi snickered. "But hey, it's way way waaay better than your first show."

"Oh, the black history..." The singer slapped her head and covered up her face. "That was the worst. And it's only like, what, 4 songs? Ugh..."

"Glad you make it to 5 then?" Her friend grinned, patting on her back again. "I guess it's time for 6 then?"

"Yeah-"

"Oi Rika! I need your help here!" One of the band mates screamed from the stage.

"ALRIGHT!" And Rika just screamed back at them, but immediately changed her tone towards Tsubomi. "I'll see you later, ok?"

"Mmm. You need any help from me?"

"Nah, I'll be fine!" She grinned back at the taller lady, before running back towards the stage.

= = = = = = = = =

"See ya tomorrow!"

"See ya!"

As Rika's finally done with everything, she grabbed her stuffs and leaped down the stage. She ran towards Tsubomi's who's currently playing with her phone while waiting for her arrival.

"Let's go!"

"Mmm."

Then she kept her phone back, while followed Rika home.

"You know, I think that the 7th song can be much better..."

"You mean the arrangement? I knew it's a lil' bit too empty..."

"Do you think you can add some flute sounds back there?"

"Eh~ That's so much works! But I guess she can try-"

And they chatted all the way back.

Yet another day of the two musicians.

Two supporting friends.

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 08: Democracy?

"Alright everymonkey, I have decided!" Sun Wutian stood on the largest tree - me - and announced to everymonkey in this cave. "The Naming Ceremony will be held in one week's time!"

"One week!"

"That's... 1, 2, 3, 4... 6 days?"

"No, you idiots! It's 8 days!"

"Huh?! I thought it's 10 days???"

...

Seriously I don't know what to do with all these monkeys who used to have great intellects with the possibility to evolve into humans in the future... then again even humans have stupid humans too. I guess they're the few bunch of them.

"No everymonkey, one week is 7 days," Wuming, the lady monkey, smiled at them while she explained what is one week... with that eerie smile on her face. Right, I understood. They're stupid, right? But hey, maybe it's just you who's too smart because you ranked up?

Now I really would LOVE to rank everyone up if that would help with their intellects.

But does it worth it? My lifeforce for their intellects?

...

Probably.

"So, in this SEVEN days," Wutian decided to change the way that he spoke into one that more monkeys would definitely understand. "We shall prepare for the ceremony. We need foods, drinks, and even accessories! We shall decorate our home into a wondrous one for this very event!"

"UWOOOOHHH!!!"

"Also," He continued, after gaining attention once more from the monkeys. "I'm very sure all monkeys here are curious and excited about WHO will be the one receiving the name, right?"

"YES!"

"And so, this is what I will tell you! There will be two monkeys chosen by us," He pointed towards himself and me. "The Great Tree Arcaxia, and I."

"Tch," I can see one of them from the Light Ape gang is not very happy about this. Two monkeys equals 2 harder enemies to defeat, for them. Of course, Wutian noticed that, and therefore...

"There will also be another two monkeys, chosen by all of you."

"?!"

Suddenly, all monkeys started to murmur around, especially the Light Ape gang. Though, they didn't speak out loud - they wanted to but the Light Ape motioned them not to. In fact, the discussion died down very soon as it seemed that they will continue this later.

"I think this is a fair, and democratic solution for all monkeys around here," Wutian spoke again, smiling at them... which some of the female monkeys nearly fainted for that. Huh. But one thing remains...

"What is... democratic?"

Yeah. The monkeys are a bit too stupid for not understanding that term.

"It means that everyone has the right to choose their own leaders," Wuming now stand out to explain, once again, towards the monkeys. From the looks of it, she's very sure that they do not understand this term, therefore she started to explain. "We do not just choose our leaders and representative because they're strong - they choose our leaders and representative because we believe in what kinds of changes they will bear for all the monkey population."

They looked at each other, and thought about the words that she spoke. After some while, she continued.

"Remember when the time you chose to follow Wutian," She gestured at her leader, while still addressing towards the monkeys. "-to this cavern - now, our home? That's your choice - to stay or to leave; to follow Wutian or to follow yourself. This is your own choice, that you have chose Wutian as your leader. Do you think it's a good choice, or a bad choice?"

"It's a good choice!"

"We all ranked-up! We're all stronger!"

"We have the backup of the Great Tree Arcaxia!"

"It's the best choice!"

"There you have it," Wuming smiled. "So we're giving you another chance to choose your own leaders and representative, whom you think will continue to help this community to grow, and benefit the entire monkey population!"

"UWOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!"

"PRAISE WUMING! PRAISE WUTIAN!"

"PRAISE GREAT TREE ARCAXIA FOR GIVING US THIS CHANCE!"

She smiled at Wutian, who in return smiled back at her. Yeah yeah, I don't even need sunlights to see how bright these two monkeys' love for each other are. So bright that the reserve of sun have increased so much that I can't even bother to count how many there are anymore.

Let's skip this, shall we?

So after the morning announcement, everyone's happily doing their jobs while discussing about the naming ceremony.

"So who do you think is the best cand- candy-date?"

"Candidate you mean? I'm very sure that monkey's good."

"Ooooh~ He's not bad!"

Yeah yeah, whatever. That's what the monkeys discussed about. Of course, they're NOT important. The important ones are...

"What do you think?"

"Do you think this is a bluff?"

"No, I'm very sure they're being serious about this," The Light Ape spoke. Yes, THIS is what's important. "After losing dramatically in front of everyone about his own brother, I'm very sure he's trying his best to bring back the monkey's heart to him."

"But... demo-crazy?" One of the Fire Ape wondered. "That's like, giving us a chance!"

"Hey hey, what IF he's actually doing for the sake of us?" Once again, the sane one spoke.

"Of course not! He's only doing this so that we won't be able to revolt so easily against him!"

"Yeah! It's one of his plans! But I'm also quite sure that the Great Tree sees this, therefore told him about the democracy plan!"

"Finally... this is a chance for the Great Tree to survive! We cannot let this chance past!"

"Let's do it!!!"

...I'm... very sure that I spoke of nothing. So everything's their own imagination.

Wow.

Their imagination's so good that they can write a drama fiction out of it.

Wow.

Nameless Love Story ~ 02

Tokyo Geidai.

While the university itself includes all subjects of arts, the Music Department itself is something that one would die to go in for. Many great musicians came from this department, especially famous composers like Hamauzu Masashi, Hamaguchi Shiro, and Iwasaki Taku. They aspired more young musicians to join their ranks in the music world, and became one of the beacons that light up their world...

...that's what made them wanted to study in Tokyo Geidai.

"Rika."

"Hmm?"

"Could you help me out in this part?" Tsubomi showed Rika another part of the score in her laptop, and pointed at the guitar's part.

"...Tsu-chan, sometimes I really wonder who's majoring in Composition - you, or me?" Rika sighed, and sat down with her housemate.

"Well... I'm a pianist, not a guitarist."

"And you expect me, a drummer, to know better?"

"At least you're in a band! You should know more than I do!" Tsubomi pouted, crossing her arms. "Plus, you're a songwriter!"

"...a songwriter doesn't make me know better, Tsu-chan," Rika made a bemused face. Unlike previously where she could hastily type in stuffs and alternate the score, this time she had to think. "Uhhh... what kind of guitar pattern you wanted?"

"Uh. I don't know."

Pause.

"Well. That's why you're helping me out here, right?"

Another pause.

"..." Rika sighed, thinking about other possibilities. "Do you want me to call my guitarist up and take a listen of this?"

"Noooooo nonono!" The composer made a disgusted face, unmatched with her usual elegance. "He's gonna ruin most of the things... so nope."

"Well, you can always be steady enough and reject anything that you don't like..." The songwriter smirked, leaning back to the sofa. "I mean, that's what I do when he's doing something weird while I'm singing."

"...you're definitely closer to him, in which I'm not, obviously," The black haired rolled her eyes, hands heading towards Rika to take the laptop back. "I'll just have to think of something myself then."

"Orrrrrrrr we can always ask... Youtube!"

"...wat."

"Well, it's an option right?" Rika grinned, without giving back the laptop to the composer. She typed in "guitar patterns" in youtube and... "VIOLA! Look! So many videos that you can choose from!"

"...are you sure this is gonna work?" Tsubomi was skeptical though, looking at the titles being "Guitar Strumming Patterns for Beginners" and "Guitar Accompanying Patterns for Beginners". "I mean, we're not learning guitars-"

"Well, our job here is NOT to learn how to guitar, but how to USE the patterns in the songs!" The blonde didn't cared about her friend's objection, and pressed on one of the link... and links after links after links until both of them get it.

Or get BORED of it.

= = = = = = = = = =

"Phew! I told you it'll help!"

"Well, without you explaining how they can be added in... I really don't think I can do it," Tsubomi smiled in defeat, giving Rika a cup of chocolate, as she sipped in her own cup of green tea.

"Hahaha~ That's just because I know more about the band stuffs more than you do... speaking of which!" The songwriter took out her own laptop from her bag, and load some files up. "I need YOUR help on my part too! We're gonna try to do something that's like a techno-choral thing... So help me out with the choral part?"

"...are you the singer now, or I'm the singer now?" The composer smirked and mocked back at Rika.

"Hey hey hey, I'm the lead singer of Nameless Dead Monster, which is an underground ROCK band just in case if you have forgotten about it. Obviously you knew better in classical movements."

"Hey, you're a graduate of Tokyo Geidai. Don't say you didn't study these while you're in your first year," Once again, Tsubomi didn't drop her mocking tone, as she poked at Rika with the same... no, wider smirk.

"S-Shut up! It's not like I know the difference between composers and songwriters, ok?!" The blonde pouted back at the black haired one, who stabbed on her wound. She remembered those days getting scolded by a lot of people and looked down by the others since she has no idea what she's doing... plus the fact that her style was different from the others. "Besides, I didn't really understand the music world before I entered university anyway..."

"Yeah yeah... And you wasted a year of your life."

"S-shut up!"

"Hehe~"

And another day of the two music graduates.

Two bickering friends.

Nameless Love Story ~ 01

The beginning of another normal day: The sky was clear, and the day was filled with brightness. Everyone on the street was walking around, doing their daily jobs as usual. Shibuya, as Shibuya always was, a busy city filled with mass of people. Everyone who lived in this city has gotten so used to the noisy and busy moments that they forgot about how it was when it's silent and serene.

Walking amongst the people was Katagawa Rika, a short girl on her 20s. Her hoodie covered most of her flamboyant hairstyle of blonde-base with pink highlights on the right. Each steps that she made were following the tempo that she listened through her earphones.

[ "Dare mo kizutsuketakunai to omotta no ni...~" ]

She softly whispered and hummed to the song, and as busy the famous Shibuya cross was, nobody cared about her singing - whether it's good, or bad. They were busy with their own schedules - some of them even did the same as Rika did - popping in their own favorite tunes into their ears. It's as if the visuals don't matter to them, while they lived in their own music world of their own choices.

She skipped through the mass of people, and as she crossed the road... she became a little bit impatient. As the tune changed, her expressions changed too. From a blank faced that she had previously, she's now having a beaming smile on her face.

[ "Mezameta kono nankahen no seeeeeekai e~" ]

She screamed out the first phrase of the changed tune, as a few walkers DID noticed her, and shot an eye towards her. However, most of them still didn't care. Rika's eyesights weren't bad, therefore she noticed those people...

But she didn't care.

She has confidence about her own talents.

Once again, her steps followed the upbeat tune, and moved hastily across the many buildings. As she reached a grayish apartment, she stopped. Grinning once again, she hopping her way towards the 2nd floor - without panting - and danced towards the purplish door.

"I'm back~"

She exclaimed as she opened the door wide, taking off the plugs from her ears.

"Hmm? Oh, welcome back."

The one who responded was an elegant lady in long black hair - common for most Japanese ladies. She's typing on the keyboard frantically as her eyes did not leave her laptop screen. Her name is Minamoto Tsubomi, the other occupant of this unit.

"Whatchu writing?" Rika hopped across after she taken off her sports shoes, and looked into the screen from behind the black haired lady. In the laptop screen, unlike usual words when one typed onto the keyboards...

They're filled with musical notes.

"Mmm... Another song... I need to hand them in by tomorrow."

She replied after a slight pause in between, while her fingers didn't stop. After she finished a phrase though, she stopped. Her head dropped backwards while she sighed, resting them on the other girl's shoulder.

"You wanna listen?"

"Sure!"

Thus both girls smiled at each other, before linking the laptop towards the mobile speakers in front of them. With a press on the spacebar, the music started to play. The start was haunting, yet beautiful. The strings accompanied the vocals as they soon reached the climax where the drums came in...

...and then Rika frowned.

"Uh, Tsu-chan, I... don't think that's a good idea."

"...sigh. I know that. That's why you're here, right?" The black haired lady grinned back at her housemate. "You're the drummer, so you should know that."

"Eh, I've already long stopped practicing on 'em... but sure, I gotcha," Rika scratched her hair sheepishly, while sitting down next to Tsubomi. She took the laptop over, and started to alter the drums part. Tsubomi said nothing, and just looked at Rika. Her face seemed to be blank, but there was no hint of worry in there. "There, that should do it."

She played it once more, and this time... both of them smiled.

"It's nice that I have a drummer friend. I don't need to work so hard on this myself," Tsubomi sighed in relieve, stretching her arms for a bit.

"Heh, remember to pay me my share! And tonight's dinner's your turn!" Rika beamed back at her, poking at her housemate's arm.

"Yeah, yeah... cabbages, right?"

"Yes!"

And that, was the daily life of the two musicians.

Two great friends.

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 07: Bombs. Bombs Everywhere

Right now, I'm having the time of the world. Everything's "under control", and I really don't need to do anything.

Well, except for making a special vine bed for the special person.

...what?

I mean Wutian. What're you thinking now?

Anyway, all I'm doing now is to think about are all named monkeys THAT smart, or they're just too stupid - well, save for blue. Now speaking of blue,

All the chaotic situation is really "under control". Are all named monkeys THAT smart, while the rest of them - save for blue - are idiots? Speaking of blue... I wonder where did he go...

"Nnngh..."

"Oh! You're awakened!" I looked towards Wutian, who's currently resting on... a special vine bed that I just created. "How's your... dry cleaning?"

"Ha ha, very funny," He sighed, wiggling his arms and tail to see if he's fully dried off. Great Sun Monkeys DO NOT like being wet, obviously. "I... I failed, didn't I?"

"Hmmmm~ I guess so?" It's rare to hear Wutian spoke with such a depressing tone, but I guess that's how it is when it comes to losing someone/something you love. Worse - it's more depressing when you heard someone you love telling you that they HATE you.

By the way, what's the time now? Oh yes, midnight. Funny that a plant like me don't seem to need any sleeps, eh? But I think the OTHER plants do, because they lack of the sunlights that keep them up. Me? I have sunlight storage in my body.

...

RIGHT! I forgot to mention about that!

You see, I'm... a VERY special plant. I can actually conserve nutritions, sunlights and water in my body! Instead of just sensing how much I stored... I have...

A numbered list.

Just like how much mana and HP I have in me being written as numbers, I also have sunlight energies, nutritions, and waters written as numbers! So like, Sunlight is like my batteries - they keep me moving without the needs to sleep. This is VERY useful when I want to work during the night time.

Nobody sees it coming.

Because it's at night.

...

Get it?

Alright, pun moments aside...

Sunlights are recharged during the daytime, and I have no need to exhaust my own sunlight reserves during that time because there's more than enough sunlights to keep me going.

Now you must be wondering "what about the other plants? Like the defensive plants that you have planted?" Right. That. To keep them working, I have to invest some sunlights into them as well. But of course, I don't NEED to put in 100% sunlight to keep all of them awake. I just need the scouts plants to be awake. When problem arises, I'll put in 100% to all of them and awake them. It won't take a long time since the transfer is quite fast... and it's through the roots so UNLESS they kill off the plants, or extracted them from the ground and sever the roots, I can always wake them up.

Oh. The roots are thick and hard soooooooo it'll take some while to actually cut them too.

And they have fire resistance... albeit minor. They're still something, right?

I'd talk about water and nutritions but it'll take some while so let's put them aside for now and... take care of this "wounded" monkey, alright?

"Y'know. Rather than thinking too hard about it... why don't you get some sleep?" I spoke to Wutian, who just sat there all depressed and didn't even want to look at me other than the ground, or his feet. "I'm very sure the day will be brighter when the sun hits the top."

"Ha ha, very funny..." But hey, he responded!

"I'm serious! Look, if you just keep on thinking about all of these, you won't get ANYTHING out of it... so why don't you just try to get some sleep, and hopefully things will get better when you wake up? Hey, maybe he'll be sorry about what he said because of the people kept on giving him pressure and it's totally not your fault?"

"..."

"Come on, I've prepared a very nice viney beddy here. It's comfy, right?" I mean, I PURPOSELY inserted the "comfortable" trait into it. It MUST be comfy.

...now what if I make it "comfortable" in other senses? Hmmm. That's something to think about when I make another "trap" plant. Heh. Heh. Heh.

"...alright alright. I'll go ahead and take a nap at your comfy viney..." He gave up and listened to me - yay~ - and went back to the Comfy Viney - right, that should be an official name for it.

[ Do you want to name "swinging vine bed" creation as { Comfy Viney } ? ]
[ Yes / No.]

Oh, I can do that? Yes please!

[ Acknowledged. { Comfy Viney } registered. ]

Oh! I see how it works now!

So I can actually save or register a name of the "creation" that I just made, AND THEN recreate the same thing with the same setting without having to tweak everything from scratch!

DAMN!

I should've done that with all the trap flowers I tweaked just now. Do you know how long it took for me to tweak all of them one by one?!

Sigh.

= = = = = = = = = =

"...See how his brother treats him? He couldn't even control his own brother!"

That's the first thing that piqued my interest when the sun arise. Huh, I wonder who decided to raise such a ruckus after yesterday.

"If he couldn't even control his own brother, how do you think he's supposed to control the more rowdy monkeys that aren't even his own family?"

"What are you talking about?! We're all a huge family! We can't just bring him down because he couldn't control his own brother!"

"I'm very sure every family has their own sibling issues. This is not a good reason to rebel against him."

Alright, so, there's a few monkeys rounding up near my coconut tree and trying to reason with each other... about rebellion? They're going to rebel against Wutian? Huh. Interesting... Well, obviously, I can see that 2 of them have some brains here.

"Listen to me!" This time, it's a Light Ape. Hmmm... he seemed familiar. "If this goes on, who knows who he will choose? His own blood brother, or us? Imagine, if he actually FORCED the great tree, Arcaxia, to bestow a name for his brother, despite him being only a lazy-ass or worse - our ENEMY! He hated Wutian, right? But most of all... he hated all of the monkeys - all of us."

That silenced the other monkeys, but one monkey raised up his hand.

"But... He said that the holy tree agreed to him, too-"

"Nonsense! Have you heard the tree said ANYTHING?" Come to think about it, I really didn't. "Also, didn't you noticed that the tree didn't even bother to help Wutian out even though he's being attacked? I'm very sure that the tree is furious towards the current leader, too!"

...yyyyyyyyyeah... That point makes sense. You win this round.

"Do you think that the holy tree is being threatened by Wutian?"

"I'm afraid you might be right... Trees are weak against fire and Wutian is a Great Sun Monkey... he COULD burn her off!"

"Oh no! What should we do?! If the great tree is dead, then so are the rest of us!"

Hey hey hey, I won't die that easily. Besides, I "promised" you guys... right?

"Of course we'll protect the great tree from harm!" The Light Ape spoke once again, standing up tall and patted on his chest. "We shall be the last monkeys standing when it comes to harming the great tree!"

"The boss is right," Boss? Why is this Fire Ape calling this Light Ape "boss"- Ohhhh. Oh I remembered.

This "boss" is the son of the ex-chieftain. No, not Wutian's dad - obviously he's not his brother - but it's the PREDECESSOR of Wutian's dad. Still, I thought he's... Wutian's "brother" or something?

"I know what to do!" One Earth Ape suddenly stood up. "Let's talk to the sacred tree," Great tree, holy tree, sacred tree... Man, I'll never run out of titles, eh? "And let's find out the truth!"

"That's a great idea!"

"Let's go," The Light Ape nodded towards all of them, and lead them towards my place...

...with a smile.

= = = = = =

"Oh Great Blessed Tree Arcaxia, I thank you for your blessings."

"Thank you for your blessings."

So now, all of them are here, kneeling against me. They were full of vigor before they came, but right now after greeting me, they just... don't know how to start.

"Mmm," Yeah. That's the thing that I did. Not really... my thing? Yyyeah. I know. But Wutian told me to speak less for now... saying that if I were to speak, I would break the whole "Holy Tree" act thingy and people will start disrespecting me. Sigh.

"Oh Great Tree Arcaxia... pardon our sudden humble appearances..." The Light Ape spoke finally, in a deep voice. "But we have something to question the Great Tree."

"Mmm. Is that so. Speak then," If it's the original me, I would just say "fire it up!" but eh. I can't. I have to be their "Great Sacred Holyspicymama Blessed Beautiful Tree Dear Arcaxia the Eternal Friend of Sun Wutian and the Savior of the Monkey Population".

"Pardon if this offends you... but we're asking this out of sincere and care," He continued, trying to find his words as he spoke. "Have... Have our leader... been mistreating you?"

Now. There's the bomb that I need to defuse. Or I can choose not to and let it explode. Of course it'll be more fun if I decided on that, but, eh... I've sinned enough to cause MORE troubles to the monkeys...

Maybe I should be honest.

"No. Sun Wutian is my greatest friend. He would never harm me in any ways possible," Except when he asked for my help to name ALL of you... giving lifeforce IS a kind of "harm" that I only receive right now anyway. Other than he once wanted to eat me, but that's in the past now.

"I... see..." He seemed to be troubled by this revelation. "I think that is all, my holy tree."

"Mmm."

And so, they left. But no, it doesn't seemed that I defused the bomb.

Why?

"I'm very sure Great Tree Arcaxia's too afraid to tell the truth!" One of them spoke.

"Yeah... Poor great tree..." Yeah, poor me, having to watch ALL of you fuck and fucked up. Sigh. "I hope I can do something..." I guess the only thing that you can do is to NOT do anything???

"No. This cannot go on... we HAVE to stop the naming session!" Eh. What? "Unless the monkeys that he named are the good monkeys, all the monkeys that were on HIS side should not be named!"

"Why???"

"So that he won't gain more power!" The Light Ape exclaimed. "Imagine... if Wutian was to gain MORE power and MORE people around him... the great tree cannot be protected that way! Even if we were to protect the holy tree, we couldn't win against such numbers and such strengths! We HAVE to stop them!"

"Oh my... you're right!"

"We have to do something!"

"Let's go... but don't spread this out. Who knows which monkey is the spy monkey?"

...spy monkey? Monkey spy? Monkey... Mon...spey? Oh no, I'm getting worse at this.

[ { Blessings of the Bad-Pun Demi-Semigod } Received ]

...REALLY?!?!?!?!?!

Re:Monstars ~ Chapter 06: Creepy Wifey?

"Hear, hear! All of the Union Monkeys Tribe!" So it's after some busy morning where everyone does their daily survival shits, Wutian decided to call out for everymonkeys for a meet up. "I have an announcement to make!"

"Oh?"

"What is it?"

"Is it good?"

"All you of should know that the Naming Ceremony is a sacred ceremony where only the monkey with the most potential and/or best behavior can get one!" The Great Sun Ape exclaimed, addressing towards the crowd. "And now... we, the leader of the Monkey Tribe and the great tree Arcaxia have came to a conclusion that it's time for another great monkey to be bestowed with a name!"

"Ohhh!?"

"I wonder who will it be!"

"I have the best behavior! Could it be me?"

"Naw, I worked the hardest! It should be me!"

"Silence!" Wutian ordered, and everyone really went silenced. They really DO respect him, eh? "We have evaluated, and we decided on a few monkeys... but before that, I would like to bring up somemonkey..."

He looked towards his own brother, who kind of didn't care about the whole speech, and pointed towards him. "My brother, Lil' Blue!"

"...Lil' Blue?"

"Thaaaaat Water Monkey?"

"He's the brother of the leader?"

"He's one troublesome fella! What's the leader wants about him?"

"I really can't believe he has such a brother!"

"Hmph," The Water Ape looked to the side, completely disrespecting the Sun Monkey. "What do you want?"

"Look how he reacted!"

"Such an insolent brat!"

"Didn't the leader taught him well?"

"Silence!!!" Wutian once again ordered, and leaped down from... my branch. He stepped up towards his brother, and grabbed on his shoulder. "I have decided that the first monkey that should be name in the ceremony will be my own brother!"

"?!" The water ape jolted his head towards the elder monkey, having a look of complete disbelief. "Why-"

"What?!"

"Are you kidding me?!"

"No way!"

"He's FAR from having a good attitude!"

"A prankster, receiving a name?! That's insane!"

"SILENCE!" Now Wutian's a little bit angry. "You may not know this... but he's the smartest monkey of the entire tribe! Remember who saved us from the massive orcs? Remember who solved the problems of food shortage? It was him, my brother! And what is it odd that such a capable monkey to receive the correct recognition and a great name to fit his works?!"

All the monkeys went silence, or rather, they murmured within their own selves. Ooooh nasty. I knew this would happen. Now... Wutian might not be able to hear 'em, but I could...

"I thought that's entirely the leader's work..."

"But he's right. The one with the plans WAS from Lil' Blue..."

"Nah, I'm very sure he's just being lucky. If there's no Wutian, his plan won't work anyway."

"Yeah... Without the leader's aid to his plans, there's nothing that he can do..."

"He's probably tricking the leader with his sweet mouth!"

"Yeah, that's probably it! They're brothers anyway!"

"All... you... idiots...!" Oh. So Wutian COULD hear them. Now that's... bad. The flames started to ignite around him uncontrollably and the light's getting brighter and brighter. The grasses underneath him started to blacken into crisps and... I started to not like this.

"Hey hey hey, big bro, chill down," Suddenly, Lil' Blue patted on his brother's back... more like, a water orb EXPLODED behind Wutian's back. It took out those flames and weakened Wutian. Wutian looked back at his own brother with disbelieve. "You're not gonna like this but, I think Arcaxia over there-"

"How dare he address the great tree with only her great name?!"

"-will be happy to hear that she didn't need to name one extra monkey."

What?

"What do you...mean-" Wutian's eyes widened, and grabbed onto his brother's shoulders again. "No Lil' Blue, you HAVE to!"

"And what GOOD will that bring me, eh?" The blue monkey swiped the elder's hands off. "Look at them, look at your followers!" He pointed at the rest of the monkeys. "NOBODY will be happy if such a monkey like me that will receive a wondrous name like yours, brother. NOBODY will recognize me for my achievements... and NOBODY will give me RESPECTS as they will for you."

"...Brother, I-"

"No, I got it," He smiled at the elder monkey. "You love me, right? But hey, there's one thing that you don't know..."

Suddenly, two blobs of water were formed in his hands, and before anyone else could react...

He smashed into Wutian's face.

"I hate you."

Everybody became furious and shocked, because Wutian fainted and the blue monkey just ran away. Without a leader, they're like wild animals without being controlled - some of them just ran furiously after the blue monkey, while some panicked and didn't know what to do. Wuming immediately came to Wutian's side and held onto him, checking onto him. Noticing that he's fine, she stood up and looked at the other monkeys.

"Listen to me!" She ordered, and immediately the other monkeys halted on what they were doing. Some monkeys that already had ran to chase after the blue monkey didn't even hear her, but the rest of them just looked at the named monkey and listened.

"The Leader is fine," That brought relieve towards all monkeys. "But we need to get him dried off. You three," She pointed at 3 fire monkeys. "Start a fire - but don't burn the blessed garden. Just dry him out," While the three fire monkeys do their things, she addressed towards the rest of the monkeys. "All of you, stop chasing after his brother. I know that all of you are furious at him, but it's also because of all of you that he reacted that way."

"But he attacked the leader!"

"YEAH!"

"No, he did not," Wuming sighed, and looked at Wutian for a while. "Listen. It's normal for siblings to fight against each other and engage in some bickerings, right? Nothing over here are life-threatening. Blue is not even being serious about attacking his brother! Furthermore, IF he really does bear hostile feelings towards him brother...

He could have killed him at this spot."

The monkeys gasped.

"But no, he didn't," Wuming continued. "With a smart monkey like him, he didn't use his skills to kill off his brother. Instead, he merely played a water-prank on him - like how he did towards the rest of you."

"But still-"

"No more shall we talk about this. It's late already, everyone, let's go and sleep," Wuming... smiled.

"Shall we?"

Now that's... creepy.
