Part One: The Strange but Familiar World

Ossu! My name is Rei! I am just your average no-school-otaku gamer! I'm 18! Erm... what's more to introduce about me? I don't really know. But I really want to know one thing...

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS PLACE?!?!?!"

Ah yes. I remembered that I was just in front of my computer, checking a damn mail, and suddenly everything just gone blank white... and I'm here. Yay? Not exactly. This place, is a freaking forest! Forest, you know! And what the hell am I wearing? It's nothing like my T-shirt and my pajama pants! Hey, where's my handphone... What on earth dude! Who kidnapped me and put me into this... mini-skirt and revealing top and... what the- DAGGER?! Why there's a dagger? What kind of prank they're playing with me!

"Ah, I see you've awakened, my dear heroine."

What? What is this, a pixie? I rose my eyebrow at this small glittering object... that resembles a small fairy that would only appear in the world of Fairy Tails- I mean, fairy tales.

"Uhhh... what?" I could only reply in such ways, since this pixie... fairy... whatever, is saying something that I normally don't hear.

"Sorry, you must have a lot of questions, right? But there's no time for this. Anyway, I'll make this short." This fairy... oddly resembles someone from my old days... Who is she? "Your quest here is to defeat the evil boss Evangelion-" What the fuck, Evangelion?! That huge robot-devil-angel-whatever-thingy?! "-but don't worry, you will have your friends to help you," With that, the fairy gave me a smile... Ugh, I gotta say that I don't like that warm smile that she seemed to trust that I can defeat some kind of huge magical devil robot with me... and... wait. My friends?

"So, your first objective here, will be recruiting a force big enough to defeat the monstrous Evangelion," the fairy smirked, and shoved a crystal orb into my arms. Wooo~ Shiny shiner shinest girls be ambitious and shine- NOT! What the hell do you want me to do with this ball?! Throw at someone??? "This orb will lead you to the path to your companions. And so, I shall take my leave."

"Wait what?!" I wasn't fast enough to catch the fairy, and she just disappeared into thin airs! Dude, can you believe that?! She didn't even tell me how to use this stupid ball! Glaring at the ball, I hoped something would happen... but after 3 minutes, I gave up. NOTHING HAPPENED!

"GAH! You freaking piece of junk!" Furiously, I threw the that ball towards the ground. But seeing that it rolled away down the mountain, I'm horrified. "Nononono wait...! Don't go away! Come back!!!"

Will it just come back? Of course not. Haiz... I regretted in throwing it off... Whatever. Now I need to get it back... but I'm damn lazy! Shit duuuude... Rolling my eyes, I do think that I should go down and fetch that thing back.

[Third Person P.O.V.]

The ball rolled and rolled (Rolling Star, somebody? 8D) and rolled... into a small village. Then, it started to shine in bright lights, before an arrow formed, and pointing to a certain direction... of a restaurant. But of course, the so-called heroine of the world currently did not realize about this...

"Geeeeeh... Where the hell is that damn ball... Oi! Come out already! I promise I won't throw you again okay?!" I yelled out into the woods as I began searching for that jun- I mean, my precious orb. Gah! Come out already-

"Grrrrr..."

Erm... what happened? I blinked for a few moments, gulping down as I heard the voice that resembles a ferocious beast... of hunger. "Oshi---!" Without even looking back... I CHARGED! But I'm so clumsy that I end up rolling down the mountain.

Rolling gaaaaru~ wa itsu made mo~

"WAAAAAAAAAH~"

This is so stupid, why am I so passionate about getting that orb back anyway? GAH! I regret... once again.

And... "Rolling Girl", really? WTF Brain. WTF.

"Mmmmgh..." Okay, where am I right now? Am I back into my own room? Was everyone just now just a dream? So damn that I hope that it's true, but it's not. But seriously, what is this place? A... room? Who's room is this? I blinked again in wonder, before I tried to get up. OH EFF! IT'S DAMN PAINFUL! Great... This is just great... And I still don't get what on earth I am. Does a warrior heroine dressed up like this? Without a single piece of armor or a decent sword?! Anything my attire seemed is nothing but a thief! If that's so, it should explain my defense so low that rolling down really hurt my whole body...

...wait.

WHY AM I COVERED IN BANDAGES?! WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO ME?! GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

I really wanted to yell that part out, but unfortunately, my mouth is covered by bandages too. Grrrr... I really hate that pixie right now... If it wasn't because of her...!

"Ah, I see you've awakened, my dear heroine."

Aaaaah... Why does this sounds soooooooo familiar... It's of course, none other than...

DAMN YOU FREAKING PIXIE! YOU MADE MY LIFE MISERABLE!!!

But of course, I can do nothing but only stared at her with fiery eyes... or so I thought. But I can see her smiling over my bandaged body. What was she, a sadist?! Hell the world man! I reeeally wanted to roll my eyes right now, but she said something that attracted my attention.

"You've engaged in your first battle. Very good! Now, you're finally qualified as a Warrior Heroine with a proper class." ...waht. Are you serious or are you outta yo mind?! How can THIS be the first battle! "Now... your class will be determined on how well you did in your first battle..." ...waitwaitwhat?! "Hmm... It seemed that you escaped in your first battle... Therefore, your class should be a thief from now on."

WHAT THE HELL?! NO ONE TOLD ME THAT RULE! Heck, I should have battle the beast or whatever to get a better class! At least a decent class like a fighter or a swordsman! What the hell is a heroine with the class of a thief- Oh wait. A thief might be good too... BUT HOW'S THAT SUPPOSE TO BATTLE EVANGELION?! Gah! I don't get it at all... Who sent you here fairy? I'm going to pummel that dude up...

"And now, your first companion should be in contact with you..." Wait. I thought I lost the orb? "Oh, your orb is gone. I guess that's its way to lead you to your friend then. Good luck in your quest Heroine!" WAIT! DON'T DISAPPEAR ON ME AGAIN--- goddammit. She's gone again! GAH! Stupid pixie... I'm going to capture you in a cage one day so that you will not disappear from me again... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Nonono. That's not the time right now... I need to get up! But my body ached... Geeeh...

*CLACK!*

"Hey, you've awaken!" Hmm? There's actually someone else here? Okay, I'm very surprised... But when I saw that guy's face, I'm even more shocked!

That uke-ful face... That hair... That attire... That cute voice... That height that aura! ZOMAIGAWD, it's none other than my best friend Kou!!! No way... He's being dragged into this game too?! But... that pair of pointy ears... It wasn't human, right?

"Thank god you're safe! I was very worried when I saw you nearly-died at the mountain end!" The Kou-look-alike smiled towards me. Ah, it's him alright... wait. NEARLY DIED?! LEGASP!!! "I've cooked some foods... Erm... can you eat it?" He looked at me worried. Please... untie my mouth! I want to eat that thing!!! It smelled so nice and yummy and... oooooh~

"Kou, if you bandage her like that, she wouldn't get to eat right?" Hey, wasn't that... Kou's little brother? Why was he here too? Odd part is, he's giving me the seme look. What the...?

"Lol Kon. Ooopps~ Sorry, miss," Kou slowly took off the bandages off my body... Ahhh~ Now I can move- wait. Now I can move?!

"Gosh, they're so... tight!" Who the fuck tie up bandages so tightly at a wounded body? That's why I can't move. They're so tight! Stupid idiotic... "Hey Aki, stupid sister, why do you tie her up like this huh?!" Uhuh, so it's his sister... great. Very great, indeed. I can feel my eyes narrowing in annoy. "Yoshiotto... Hai! Dekita!" Ah, it's Kou alright, who'll use Hirasawa Yui's style of talking... though I did that sometimes too. "There! You feel better?"

Ahhh... I can feel my body once again~ "Sankyu, Kou-chan!" I laughed out and gave a peace-sign towards Kou. He looked very blur at me. Wait. He didn't know me?

"Uhhh... Okay...?" He blinked for a few times too! No way... this... wasn't the Kou-chan that I knew?! "Oh, by the way, my full name is Hirasawa Kou. That's my brother Kon and my sister is named Aki, who changed your clothes and everything." Okay, though the surname wasn't the same, though it's taken from Yui's, he really didn't know who am I. Should I pretend that I don't know him too...?

"Uhm, hey! My name's... uhh... Tainaka Rei!" Gah! Why did I came up with a fake surname?! Whatever. It's not like anyone knew about this anyway... He's using K-On surnames, so why not? "Thanks for saving my life, I owe you one!"

"Hahaha! It's nothing big. Saving one's life is a good thing too, right?" He smiled, just like how he normally did. Uhuh... So, it IS him alright, just... in a parallel world? What, Alternate Universe? What the heck?

"Hahaha, domo~" I tried my best not to show any odd faces out towards him, kindly thanked him and trying hard to accept whatever's happening to me...

...and this world... the strange but familiar world...
